Mugam Klub Restaurant — Restaurant in Baku City

When we went inside, the overall atmosphere was not bad, however, after we had ordered a light portion including a small plate of mixed grill, some bread that was quite cold, and some water and cherry juice, as well as some pilaf, the bill ended up to be 200 manat! this was crazy and as we quickly looked at the bill, they ended up charging 30 manat extra for the music (which we had not asked or been listening to) and insane prices for such a small order! as well as the usual adding random stuff to the bill for the tourists that decide to come, the waiter was absolutely unapologetic as well. Lovely place but total rip-off! They didn’t have kids menu so the server suggested they can make chicken nuggets and French fries for my 2 year old Daughter. Then billed that for 32 manat! For kids nuggets and fries 🤦🏻‍♀️ also had to give 15% of our total bill for the musicians that were playing on the restaurant (didn’t ask for that so not sure why I was paying for it lol) . I wish they had informed us about this this. After this experience Ofcourse we didn’t want to tip the server but he kept insisting. After hearing from alot of people I went to enjoy the cultural ambience and music in ith good food. Loved the music, the place is a beauty But The waiter assigned to us was extreemly rude. Despite me trying to be nice with him he kept us waiting alot many times, the way he treated us was quite judgmental and just ruined the entire experience for me and the guest I went with.

I normally do not write reviews but I really want them to improve the quality of service because the place is a MUST VISIT and the Mugham musician is really commendable as well.
