Otdix — Restaurant in Baku City

I live in the Seattle area. There's a modest restaurant called Melrose Grill that I was told had the best steaks in the Seattle area for years. It doesn't overlook the city, no water view, and is isn't surrounded by luxury homes. When I walked into the door the first time after hearing the legend surrounding this place I thought I may have misspelled the name of the restaurant. After my first visit, all the hype was confirmed. If I want to make a reservation at Melrose Grill for Valentines Day right now, 2025 is the best available.

That's the impression I have regarding Otdix. Longtime local favorite the tourists wish they knew about. Make a reservation and order 'Sebat' ahead as it takes time to prepare, or make a night of it while you wait and enjoy appetizers etc.

Very tasty local food with fresh salad and homemade drinks (compot). You may order a small portion of each type of the food. Choosing the food is possible while seeing the food being cooked. An extraordinary approach to attracting customers and giving them the opportunity to see what they would like to eat. These three portions of main food were shared between 3 people and were more than enough. On side you may consider ordering salads, local cheese etc. The service was not actually quite impressive as the food. The waiter was not attentive due to having many other customers. If you’re a tourist and you don’t speak the language avoid this place if you can! Located really far from center of city I went into the restaurant and they tried to sit me in an empty place without anybody around me just because I am a tourist. The waiter just keeps saying I don’t speak English. I don’t speak English many times his behavior was horrible When I tried to order something from the menu.
