The best food we’ve had on our trip to Atlantis, hands down. The painkiller cocktail was delicious as well and strong! Our waitress was so nice, she got apple juice for our toddler without even being asked, I’m still wondering how she knew that’s the only thing he’ll drink besides our own flavored water?? I’ll never know. Haha!
I asked for a water for myself at one point, I was getting a little warm from the heat on the patio and she got us some bottled waters and set up a giant fan near us to help cool me off. Such great customer service from her. Our food was great, my husband and I both went with Indian dishes but my toddler had shrimp and fries and like that! I had butter paneer and roti. The roti wasn’t our favorite thing ever but it was still good; however we get roti from different types of cuisine and each is different so Indian may be different than our typical Malaysian favorite! Prices are very reasonable for the island and it’s right next to a convenient store too, we got our toddler some ice cream there and some drinks to take back home and our waitress offered us a taxi back to the resort when I asked about finding one back. (Albeit $5 more than our taxi there but it was late) All in all we had a lovely evening on the patio having delicious dinner to send us off back tot he states!
One thing to know it was I agree with one of the other reviews here someone was smoking at a table behind us for about 30 minutes on and off, and I hate the smell of cigarette smoke. It’s just so gross when you’re trying to enjoy a meal so I removed one star for the atmosphere. The music was a tad loud but I could still hear my husband and son just fine &...
Read moreIf you are an Indian and visiting Bahamas and crave Indian food this restaurant is a must visit or order for delivery. I was living at Royal Atlantis (Paradise Island) after 2 days in my trip I started craving Indian and being Vegetarian it’s always challenging with vegetarian options and especially getting good Indian food in tourist places is a pain. Me and my wife were debating where to order from? We had 2 choices “Taj Mahal” and “Cabbage Bistro” We took a bet on “Cabbage Bistro” as it was close to Atlantis Hotel. I must tell one of the best places to order Indian food from we ordered Veg biryani and Butter Paneer and I must tell you it was even better that some of the restaurants I frequently eat in the US. Tasty, Authentic, Delicious I am sure their NonVeg will be amazing. Restaurant staff Mahesh, Prashant took good notes and recommended great choice based on our palette and their deliver guy Gopal really great guy made sure my food was delivered hot and on time he also brought in extra cutlery and plates. All Indians must visit support our culture and community I could give 100 starts if google allowed :) Good Luck I will certainly spread the word amongst my friends...
Read moreWe recently had the pleasure of dining at Cabbage Beach Bistro and Marketplace during our visit to the Bahamas, and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality from the staff.
The authenticity of the Indian cuisine was remarkable. Every dish we tried was flavorful and prepared to perfection, reminding us of the rich and diverse flavors of India. But what made our experience even more special was the manager's attentiveness and kindness. Not only did he ensure that everything was to our satisfaction throughout the meal, but he also went above and beyond by offering us a ride back to our hotel at Atlantis after dinner. This thoughtful gesture truly made us feel valued and appreciated as guests.
Overall, Cabbage Beach Bistro and Marketplace offers more than just a meal; it provides an unforgettable experience with fantastic food and unparalleled service. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic Indian dining experience in the Bahamas. We will definitely be returning on...
