Renova Spa — Local services in New Providence

The staff was friendly and that was the only positive thing. I was disappointed with the rest of service in the spa. The area where you are supposed to change is not very clean. There were no towels provided and when I asked for one, the lady in the spa said that guests usually get towels by the pool area. However, she agreed to look for a towel for me. The towel she gave me was very old and did not look attractive . The Robe was not provided and when I asked for it I got one with a ripped pocket. The brown hand towel next to the sink was old and had bleached spots. The scale on the floor was rusty and so small that you can put only one foot on it. The massage was OK. There were no hair products, hair dryer, cotton swabs, lotions, etc.... I would not recommend this spa...

Spa should provide a friendly greeter, towels, dirty towel basket, garbage can, soap, shampoo, conditioner, cream and hair dryer. None of these are provided. Not to mention, cigarette butts, plastic bag and big black dead bugs in the hot tub area.

I specifically asked the staff in the spa for a hair dryer. They all (4 staff members) told me they don’t have one; there isn’t one in the spa. I left the spa and asked the hotel concierge if there was a hair dryer I could borrow. She called the spa back and hung up the phone. She told me to go back to the spa as they will give me one.

If I could give zero stars, I would! We had a reservation booked at 9, sat there for over 10 mins for them to figure out who we were, to then find out someone was already back there using our reservation. They then brought the 2 people out to the waiting room sitting there next to us, and ushered us back. I said this won't work now because we have a schedule and I paid $500 for a 2 hour massage, not 1 1/2 hours. When I asked for a refund, their response was they will send an email requesting a refund since we paid online ahead of time. Piss poor, and unacceptable! Never again will we be using Renova! Worst customer service...
