We originally were waiting to get seated at The Dunes, while we waited we walked around and looked at the menu at this restaurant. The hostess was so lovely and hospitable. She even brought us over to see the cuts of fish they offered. The hostess at the dunes was extremely rude and really turned us off from wanting to give them our business. In the end we decided to cancel our reservation at the other place and dine here and we are SO glad we did. The staff were so kind and friendly.
We had the snapper ceviche and the tortilla and plantain chips with guacamole and salsa as an appetizer. The snapper ceviche in particular was incredible.
For dinner we had a variety of mains amongst us - grilled snapper, blackened grouper and a strip loin. All of them were great and did not disappoint. For sides we had the Bahamian rice and peas and the cabbage and carrot slaw.
I don’t typically go for dessert but we shared the banana foster and I’m so glad we did! One of my most favourite desserts I’ve ever had.
