Four Season Ocean Club 3.85 star ⭐️ cut short on word limit. We been wanting to come here since seeing Casino Royal. We have been to other FS facilities
The best part of this facility is the beach and the water. Hands down the best feature here at this location. Without this this, This FS would be just average and just expensive.
Best way to describe this facility is “Long in the Tooth” I wish the entire facility matched the main entrance and bar of Versailles Terrace in quality, vibe, upkeep, personnel and appearance. If you don’t understand this then you have not been to other Top notch Four Season facilities.
Check in was easy and prompt arrival 2:30pm. On a Tuesday room available right away. Y’all were very accommodating on our room location request in getting us close to the main building to help my wife’s walking issues. Thank you this was a big help.
Shout out to Prince and Sidney, great service and always asking what can I get you, how can I help you etc. Great employees. Plus all the bellman up front very friendly and courteous. Friday night reception was very nice and appreciated. Drinks and cocktails were made very well. Rum Dum is so great at the Dunes-Beach bar, can’t wait to start making my own version. A must try.
Your bartender in the front main building at nights Felix, is exceptional, he makes the best espresso martinis I have ever had. Great employee as well.
You have tons of staff it looks like it, but it’s not the same as other FS facilities, just not the same. Outside those mentioned above.
Now what I feel is not Four Seasons Quality or image.
Lunch food quality needs an entire overhaul @ Dunes lunch and plus dinner menu was just so disappointing and bland. The best thing we ate at your facility all week was the grouper tacos in the adult pool. And the Avocado Poached egg from room service. Seriously.
Ocean dinner was such a disappointment. My wife’s calamari was like rubber. The grouper was just ok and overcooked. Nothing special to match the name and image of being a Four Seasons.
We had a better quality cheeseburger at Margaritaville than the Four seasons. That’s sad. Paranza (although new)it is in the Atlantis was far superior in quality of food than the Dunes and Ocean by far. Our best dinner all week.
It’s seems someone needs to power wash all the walkways at this facility. Walk bare footed and see the results! Also the GM needs to walk around a get a to do list started. Things are falling off right in front of every ocean view rooms, out door trim, railing, stairs etc. Just Worn.
Something small but there are 30/40 palm trees out front of the Versailles Terrace with lights on them. More than 1/2 don’t work, 1/2 lights on some Palm trees 🌴 work most don’t , some blinking others not. Just turn them off it looks cheap, actually sad. Sorry.
The adult pool and the surrounding gardens are beautiful and well kept as advertised. The pool water this time of year was exceptional warm seriously warm. The ocean was much more refreshing. The front pool by the ocean is also an exceptional view and was also very 🥵Warm water.
The rest of the grounds is not four seasons quality. Maybe it’s just me.
In our room although spacious it’s just worn. You see on every corner of it, some rotted millwork between moulding, base boards, door jambs and flooring. Don’t leave food n your room. Small micro ants 🐜 will be all over it. It’s just doesn’t match the investment cost of a Four Seasons. Our patio needs repair on the stones. I tripped and fell Did not hurt myself. That’s what I mean. This place is just worn and yes it is 50 years old, outside the main Versailles building its needs help. Very disappointed 😢 on the overall investment of this vacation, in the image of being a Four Seasons Quality property it is not.
Although my wife and I will be back again to Nassau, we would not invest again in this Four Season property. Disappointing since the beach 🏝️ and water is so beautiful.
To us it looks like you are trying to maybe dumb this asset....

....However, since the Four Seasons took it over in 2017, it's shocking how many babies, adolescents and teenagers are here as their parents have no issues spending $35 for a pizza, $36 for a fish sandwich and $75 for breakfast.
Founded in 1962 by Huntington Hartford, he had the grand vision to open a property focused on British lifestyle and built 52 rooms (now called the Hartford wing), 18-hole golf course and signature restaurant, Cafe Martinique. Ownership changed several times as Trump acquired it in 1987, Merv Griffin in 1988, then One & Only and finally, Access Industries (Sir Leonard Blavatnik founder) which also owns the amazing Four Seasons Grand Hotel du Cap-Ferrat, FAENA in Miami Beach and the newly opened The Belgrove in West Palm Beach.
We've been coming here for more than 30 years and there are still many employees still working here, some in fact have been here more than 50 years. Hartford not only built one of the all-time classic resorts in the world, but had the vision to build the Versailles Garden and Temple which to this day, is worth staying here to enjoy.
It was best when owned by One & Only (Sol Kerzner also opened The Atlantis) as Sol focused on customer experiences including champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries at 6:00PM nightly, Godiva chocolates at turndown and weekly manager's reception. Alas, Four Seasons removed all of those amenities and didn't create any of their own and along the way, doubled the room rates.
With only 107 rooms and suites along with a few villas, you know you entered a magical paradise when your private car takes you through the entry gate. Employees are dressed in formal outfits and on this visit, they were the most friendly we have ever experienced. The grounds are still immaculate from plenty of green grass, gardens and direct access to Cabbage Beach.
Their signature restaurant is Dune managed by Jean-Georges Vongerichten since 2000 and offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. They recently opened Ocean Blu by the family pool which now serves lunch and dinner in a casual setting. The adult pool also offers a restaurant open for lunch. In fact, the adult pool is the only oasis left on the property away from all the kiddos.
They recently updated the small gym to include three Peloton bikes, new free weights along with updating the small locker rooms. Tennis remains a huge draw for guests and there are bikes available to use around the resort and island.
Rooms are very expensive, expect to spend more than $3000 nightly with taxes (20% plus $125 daily service charge) and they are decent, all with patios or balconies that overlook the Caribbean. There is a small spa with the reception area occupying what was the original entrance to the hotel.
Overall, The Ocean Club, kiddos and all, is still a very special place. We have been here more than 20 times and yet, it is still pure luxury in paradise.
Note: They recently broke ground on their new 4-building condo project that features 67 residences starting at $7.8M for a 2+ bedroom unit to $14M for a 3+ bedroom unit to more than $25M+ for the 5 bedroom units. In all, this more than $1B investment will take 3 years to build with expected completion in 2028. Since it is right next door to the Crescent Wing, I am not sure the noise level once...
