Beware of Scammers! Went with my son and as you are walking to the beach people are approaching left and right. I was asked if I wanted to rent jet skis, and against my better judgement my son talked me into it. These thing looked like they were drug behind a vehicle for a few miles with no trailer, but they ran good so I figured oh well. Rode for the hour that I rented them for then came in. As soon as we got back they said, who is going to pay for the damage? I said, huh? They said, its obvious you hit each other or hit something pointing to random damage. I said we were right in front of you this whole time, and no one hit anything. I said, I don't know what type of scam you are trying to run, but you got the wrong one, The guys scamming partner stepped in front of my 15 year old son and said, either you pay us for the damage or you will be paying it in hospital bills. I attempted to reach over the guy I was talking to, but unfortunately missed the other guys head. I said to my son, lets go and we started to walk back down the trail, to the road. They were saying they were calling the cops, I said go...

Strong rip currents, no life guards! I witnessed someone nearly drown.. luckily he was able to pull himself out on his own power right when I noticed and tried to help… Great beach if you walk a bit down, to a more private area … the local business owners and vendors are quite aggressive with selling their products of beach chairs, drinks, jet skis, etc… if you are ok with the haggling and can hold your own, the beach offers some amazing views a and clear water! The vendor that we ended up buying drinks from was persistent but super nice, and offered unlimited refill pineapple drink for $40 USD, amount of alcohol content could be weak or stronger depending on your preference. Watch your kids in the water, the current /...

Awesome Beach if you're heading a little to the east to get loose from the crowded entrance with lots of hotel guests and promotors, who are trying to sell you alcohol.

The beach is very clean, white sand and best water. Better bring your own chairs and umbrellas with you, otherwise you get caught from the promotors.

Little thing to add: there are not many parking spaces, if you're heading there during the day. But when the promotors are gone approximately after 4pm the parking situation...

Breathtaking, blue, was a cloudy morning and not Many people. Vendors don’t force your hand to buy anything or try to hustle you. We paid $6 to park to avoid any towing. You can park up the dirt road that leads to cabbage beach tho. The road is a bit lumpy. They sell you chairs and umbrellas so I would recommend to bring your own if you want to save $$ Bought a coconut for $20 with a free refill of pina colada Bahama mama, or fruit punch!
