Absolutely wonderful and a definite must visit in Bahrain. The service and staff is absolutely fantastic and outstanding. The staff at the door were very kind and helpful, the decoration on the ground floor was great too.
The decor was beautiful and the vibe was wonderful. There was a smoking and non smoking area as well as a live DJ. The atmosphere was filled with chill house music and classics.
Onto the service, the waiters were extremely kind and polite. Constantly coming over to fill up drinks / water as well as changing plates. Speaking of plates, they were beautiful designs of lemons and fishes on nice ceramic plates. They also served the food onto plates with finesse and balanced the portions between us 3. The waiters were extremely generous and good to us.
Onto the food. It was absolutely great. The speed of how they served the food was balanced and great. The waiters paid great attention to us as well as other guests. The food i ordered goes as follows: Original Greek salad Octopus carpaccio Crispy calamari The risotto Moussaka Ribeye steak And the soufflé with vanilla ice cream.
The Greek salad was delicious and definitely worth a try. It was probably one of the most delicious Greek salads I’ve ever tried. The octopus carpaccio was pretty tasty as well, but I was curious about the tomato carpaccio. It was definitely quite tasty. The crispy calamari was absolutely to die for and a must order. The risotto was a biiiit too tomatoe-y for my tastes, but it tasted good as well. The moussaka was very tasty which I wasn’t expecting. I wasn’t expecting anything much because I’m not a big fan of eggplant but, it was definitely a must order when coming. The ribeye was nicely salted and was super juicy. The dessert was great, the soufflé was served on a hot ceramic plate tasting of a nice deep dark chocolate, the icecream was a great contrast to it.
This must have been one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever experienced. If I’m ever back in Bahrain, I totally need to visit again.

Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Asteria, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we walked in, were greeted with warm smiles and a cozy atmosphere and we were escorted by the professional Evi straight to Greece.
The menu offered an impressive variety of authentic Greek dishes, each prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We highly recommend trying their chicken ceoquet, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The Greek salad was a refreshing delight, and the Keftedes was tender and succulent.
The service was impeccable, with attentive staff "Gino" who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. She was knowledgeable about the menu and made excellent recommendations.
The ambiance was charming, with traditional Greek decor and soft, ambient lighting that created a relaxing and enjoyable environment. It was the perfect setting for a memorable meal with my family, who just arrived to Bahrain.
Overall, Asteria exceeded all my expectations. So If you're looking for an authentic Greek dining experience with delicious food, outstanding service, and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to go. I can't wait to return and explore more of their delightful menu.

Previously "Attic" - the place got a major revamp on everything from interiors, menu, and overall vibe. Came here with friends for dinner and drinks.
Starters - tried a variety of mezzas, cold & hot starters (tzatziki, calamari, chicken croquette, feta arancini, keftedes, grilled octopus, fried cheese pie) - all were good but special mention to the cheese & honey rolls. (5/5) Grilled prawns (off the menu) were extremely good. Definitely worth trying. (4/5) Cocktails - weren't the best I've had (3/5) Wine list - had a good variety (4/5) Dessert - was delicious! Tried the "chocolate karidopita" which was choco cake with vanilla cream and cinnamon ice cream. Light and tasty (10/5)
We always sit at the lounge area - pleasant vibes, dj has nice tracks, music is not too loud and you can have a conversation, and the crowd is right.
