I came for the all you can eat pork bbq for BD7 (apparently gross, not net) per person. We skipped the beef for an extra +1.5BD because last year, when this venue had the same offer, I tried the beef bbq and found it inferior to the pork bbq. In my most recent visit, there were three of us and, collectively, we ordered five portions of pork. All of us liked the pork bbq and all the extras except for the glass noodles; kimchi and bean sprouts, as well as dried, battered veggies, we're delectable. At the end, we drank green tea: one pot of hot green tea and two glasses of iced green tea. Not sure how the bill came to BD28.9 as I did not scrutinise the check. Next time I will not neglect to do that. Strangely, no raw garlic was served with the bbq but, being clairvoyant, I brought my own. Note that, as I supposed, Entertainer coupons for Da Rae Jung are not valid for the bbq special. While efficient, the waitstaff could stand to be a bit friendlier with, and more attentive to, guests. While not loud, the light rock music from the 1990s and hip hop from the 2000s overall detracted from the dining experience. Perhaps k-pop would have been...
Read moreOn my second visit to the Korean BBQ restaurant, I must say that it is definitely worth checking out. We opted for the unlimited per head menu, which consisted of all beef selection, and it was worth every penny. The service was both fast and friendly, and the casual and home-like atmosphere made for a comfortable experience with friends, family, or a romantic date with a significant other.
I would highly recommend visiting and trying out their other menu items in addition to the unlimited BBQ to add some more flavor to the table. During my visit, I requested shrimp tempura and beef sushi rolls, which were a great addition to the other food on the table.
Overall, I would definitely visit again to try out their other menu items, as there is a lot to select and try. The combination of delicious food, good service, and comfortable atmosphere make for an enjoyable...
Read moreThis is one of the best restaurants I have been to in Bahrain - a real hidden gem. The food selection is amazing and the owners and staff are friendly, fast and attentive. Dudong was absolutely impressive in briefing us and delivering the various dishes which were enthralling and extremely tasty and well presented, fresh and high quality. This is an Aladdins cave of culinary treats that should not be missed. No trip to Adliya is complete without visiting Da Rae Jung - Bahrain’s leading Korean restaurant. This is the “first among equals” when it comes to amazing restaurant foods in Bahrain. If this review was helpful - please...
