Fatto — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

I visited Fatto recently to place a takeaway order, hoping to enjoy one of my usual risottos—either the saffron or the mushroom. I’ve ordered both online before and typically request small customizations: replacing beef with chicken in the saffron risotto, or removing the mushroom pieces (not the flavor) from the mushroom risotto.

This time, however, both waitresses—the Indian and the Bahraini—were dismissive and uncooperative. Every time I tried to explain my request, I was met with a firm “no,” without any effort to listen or understand. I even mentioned that these changes are usually accommodated when I order online, but they refused to consider it.

Their tone and attitude felt unnecessarily rigid and unwelcoming. I left feeling disappointed—not just because of the food, but because of the lack of hospitality and basic listening. For a restaurant that prides itself on warmth and Italian charm, this experience felt cold and unnecessarily difficult.

Well im righting this review after telling the restaurant so, basically we enjoyed the dinner and we had an amazing experience. We reserved a table for three people and orderd the food as shown in the bill at the photos with my personal ratings.. and i highly recommend the steak it was the best dish in Bahrain (the meat, sauce, preparation, ingredients) it was absolutely made with love. Perfecto❤️🤩🥳😋

Secondly, the rozeto also delicious but i can't help it .. it was a little bit wet i think it needed a little bit extra time on the heat .. but overall all was amazing 😍

Third, the Pizza ingredients was good BUT, the tomato sauce has extra extra garlic which covered all other flavors.. and trust me when I said extra its like a lot of garlic , overall good 👍

Finally, the macaron wasn't as great as expected so i didn't eat that dish .. overall bad 😔

I love food. And especially Italian food, so during my visits to new countries i like to explore and enjoy different foods and restaurants that are not available where i live. So during my visit to this place, i was greeted by some amazing bread with paste that has pesto and it was great. I ordered the pizza and crust was amazing, the dough is done correctly and the portion is huge! I have order shrimps linguine and it was one of the best. The combination in the sauce and shrimps and pasta is so good that i finished the big dish so quick. Now that we are done with the food description.
