JOE'S CAFE BAHRAIN — Restaurant in Bahrain Island

I had eftar, brunch, with my family at this place where they had special deals for Ramadan. The staff was very friendly and professional. We were greeted right and seated by the host. The first problem raised when they said they had one baby seat only and it was already reserved. We had to leave my one year old son sitting in his baby trolley the whole time. We placed three orders in which each came with soup, appetizer, and a desert. Look at the attached invoice to see prices and items. Food presentation was great. The Pumpkin soap is highly recommended. It was so delicious and make with a lot of details. The beef tenderloin was outstanding and made to order. The Volcano fries is Not to go, not recommended. The chicken at the risotto was not marinated well and felt like ready cooked chicken. Chocolate brownie was great. The second problem was that, they dont have anything suitable for kids. Even the Penne was over spiced and heavy for my 7 years old daughter. Overall, the food is great but not suitable for kids. The prices are high but worthy of you order...

I loved everything about this place, the atmosphere, the employees, the food and how they care about the details, the staffs are so friendly and i loved how they served us like we are in a 5 stars hotel, they even provided us with small bowl for the kernel of dates!! My best dish was the pumpkin soup, its was outstanding!!! even that small piece of bread on top of the soup was so delicious, unfortunately i didn't capture it but you can see all their dishes on their Instagram @joesbahrain . Joe's Cafe is now one of my best top 5 restaurants!! and will definitely visit it again and i highly recommend it for you. Ramadan menu was super good!! I hope they provide business lunch menu...

We recently visited this cafe for the first time and had a mixed experience. On the positive side, the coffee and pancakes we ordered were really yummy and fresh. It's clear they use good ingredients and know how to make tasty dishes.

However, there was one big downside. The waiters weren't very professional. They were singing loudly along with the music in the cafe, not really paying attention to if it was bothering the customers or not. This made our visit a bit uncomfortable.

We think the cafe could be a great spot if the management looks into how the waiters behave. Making sure customers are happy and comfortable should be as important as serving...
