Khao Soi By Meal City — Restaurant in Chattogram Division

Went to the newly renovated Meal city...and it was a good choice I must say.. Meal city used to be bustling back in their initial days..well it has lost its bustle nowadays but I think with proper promotion and work on their dishes it could gain back its popularity again. Had their Indo Malay Elegance Platter, Honey Chicken Cashewnut Salad, Melted Chocolate Brownie with Ice Cream Tried the Indo-Malay Elegance Platter(1:4) .. Portion wise the platter was good for 4 people...The platter included 2 plates of Nasi Goreng Fried Rice, 4 pieces of Chicken Satay and 4 pcs of Prawn Tempura, a bowl of Chinese Vegetable and a bowl of Malaysian Butter Chicken. The Nasi Goreng Fried rice was a 7/10 for me as I've missed that kick of shrimp paste that I usually find in the Nasi Goreng in other places... It was spicy for sure ..But the concept of Nasi goreng also includes chunks of chicken in the rice which I think it lacked. Chicken Satay and Prawn Tempura was a solid 8/10 Mixed Vegetable was a 8/10.. It lacked some seasoning as per my taste Malaysian Butter Chicken would be a 6/10 for me...Malaysian butter chicken would originally be creamier rather than a brothy texture..They could increase the portion as it is for 4 people...and however I felt they lacked the creamy texture it originally has. I think they should really work on this item as it is the main course of this dish.. I'd prefer the Malaysian Butter Chicken at Senang more Overall I'd give this platter a 7/10 because everything paired up tasted good. P.S: They'd advised me to try their other platter Thai Spice Odyssey as they had good reviews on that platter...However that made me feel even they weren't confident on their Indo Malay Elegance Platter..Hence, I opted for the platter because of my love for Nasi Goreng Rice. Will surely go back and try their recommended Thai Spice Odyssey platter We also paired the Platter with Honey Chicken Cashewnut Salad.. which was a solid 7/10 . Worth trying.. but certainly had better.. Had their Melted Chocolate Brownie with Ice cream which was a solid 8/10. However I'd like brownie more soft, chocolatey and gooey to make it a 10/10 ..But certainly better than a...

Continental restaurant located in Equity Centrium just next to Well Park Hotel. This restaurant is based on serving the young generation with a variety of cusine. They have continental platters, North Indian platters, south Indian thali, some Chinese items (Bangla Chinese), and other western dishes. Their food is good as of overall experience including the ambience of the place. If you want to sit and have a good meal with your friends, this is the place. They serve freshly prepared meals that's the reason their serving may take time. I have visited this restaurant a couple of times and I must say their service is good. And overall they have improved their service and food quality from what they had when they opened. They have a corner which is done according to the Friends TV show theme, and that makes the place stand out, and is also a main attraction point of many youngsters. Recommended: Overall, do try out the meals, they have offers every now and then, most of them are buy 1 get 1, or buy 2 get 1. Do opt for the meals rather than individual dishes would be my giveaway...

Today I visited Meal city again .. So basically this is what I need to share.. They don't know how to deal with the customers..It was a total dissatisfaction dealing with them..Their behaviour is so rude..They don't provide proper information to the customers.. We needed their lounge and used it for 2 hours(first 2 hours without pay) and wanted to sit in the restaurant but they were refusing to do so.Later we ordered thier meal where there was an offer buy 2 get 1..They said we can't avail it because we reserved the lounge so the offer will not available to us..But in thier Facebook post there wasn't any mention of that..(it was done because we came out of the lounge) However they later offered it but we refused to take so... First try to deal and satisfy the customers then run the business.. This is my last time visit..won't ever pay a visit...
