Disappointed with the food and service

I had a very disappointing experience at Appeliano. I ordered their special chow mein after confirming with the staff that it would include prawns. My cousin ordered the chicken chow mein. When the food arrived after a 45-minute wait, I was shocked to find that both dishes looked same — neither had prawns, and the only difference was a few pieces of egg on top.

I immediately informed a staff member, who seemed surprised and asked, “kono prawn nai?”Tahole “apni ektu boshen ami prawn diye dite boli”. He then told me to wait so they could add prawns to the dish. By then, I had already waited too long and didn’t want to wait another 10–15 minutes, so I told them to leave it.

What was more disappointing was that they charged the full amount without offering any apology or compensation. It was clear they didn’t know what ingredients were in their own dishes, which is quite unprofessional.

To make matters worse, another cousin who ordered Set Menu A found an ant inside her food. This is absolutely unacceptable and raises serious concerns about hygiene and food safety.

Appeliano, I sincerely suggest you review your menu and train your staff better. If necessary, increase your prices, but at least provide quality food and proper customer service. Customers deserve honesty and respect.

Lastly, when I went to pay the full bill and shared my concerns with another staff member, the waiter who had served us was standing nearby laughing.
