Platinum Club Dhanmondi — Restaurant in Dhaka Metropolitan

After seeing so many good reviews on facebook, we were planning to go there, so we book our seat before one day.

After entering the place, we were astonished to see so many crowd and the place was small, though the interior was pretty. The main pathetic scene was the buffet arrangement. In a corner they arranged there buffet items and for the whole time every people suffered for that reason.

To take the food you have to fight to go near the food corner as the place is so small, and when you reached near the food, you have to be amazed to see that, already the food thala is empty. Another pathetic scenery is the refilling. The refilling time is too high, the staff are too lazy to refill the empty item. There was chaos everywhere.

They said that there will be 30+ items, but actually the item can't be more than 20+. Some of the food items tastes good but the desert section is too much poor. They have no sympathy for their customers.

We were totally disappointed by their behavior, by their food and also by their place. If you want to waste your 380 taka,...

*Environment : If it was possible then I would have given them minus rating for the environment. It was so hot there as the AC was not working properly.

*Seating arrangement : As its a buffet restaurant, seating arrangement of one portion is not appropriate because one has to walk a long distance to refill food and seats are not also comfortable.

*Food: Foods are not only below average in taste but also some of the items were one or two days old. One of the desert was 'jorda'; it was the worst thing of its kind I ever tasted. In beef curry, solid meat was rarely found rather they filled the curry with loads of potatoes and meat with bones.

*Timeliness : The buffet was supposed to start at 7:00 pm whereas they took about 40 minutes more to prepare.

*About acceptance of debit or credit card: In their entrance, they wrote that card is accepted whereas in reality they asked us to give cash as the machine was not working. This is one of the oldest trick to collect cash money but this is purely unprofessionalism.

One of the best buffet Restaurant in Dhanmaondi, Dhaka. It is located near Jigatola Bus Stand on Satmasjid Road. Beside buffet it serves different dishes and set menus. Their coffee, juices and soft drinks are good. It is very good for arranging small party with 50-150 persons. Interior design of this place is awesome and unique. For birthday or get-together party, if anyone want decorate they will do it for you will a little charge. They also allow decoration from third-party. Their food items are delicious. All staffs are very polite, active and well-behaved. In buffet, they have less items than other competitors in market but they prefer quality rather than quantity. Place is spacious, well-decorated and clean. I arranged my daughter's birthday party in this place and it was a excellent experience. Thanks a lot to Platinum Club Team.
