I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Nandini in Dhaka for four nights from May 29th to June 2nd, and I must say it was a delightful experience. This hotel combines modern and traditional aesthetics with a touch of elegance, creating a truly refreshing ambiance.
One of the standout features of this property is its promotion of local handicrafts. The rooms are adorned with locally crafted items like carpets and paintings, adding a unique charm to the overall decor. It was a pleasure to be surrounded by such artistic touches.
The rooftop restaurant, with its urban garden, deserves special mention. It offers a calming and serene atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind after a long day.
While every property has its share of deficiencies, I believe it is the people at Hotel Nandini who truly make the difference. From the friendly and helpful staff at the front desk to the attentive servers in the restaurant and the barista at the reception, everyone wore a smile and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay.
However, there were a few policies that could benefit from reevaluation. Selectively serving food in the room, the requirement to deposit the key at the reception every time one leaves, and the intentional absence of milk powder in the room were minor inconveniences. Nonetheless, the exceptional service provided by the staff overshadowed these gaps, and their efforts deserve commendation.
I do hope that the management takes into consideration guest feedback and revisits some of the rules and policies to enhance guest comfort even further.
Overall, I highly recommend Hotel Nandini most importantly for its outstanding service. The hotel may have its imperfections, but the warmth and dedication of its staff make it a truly memorable...
Read moreWonderful experience . 4 night stay when the thin Asian mattresses and my back did not appear to get along in the airb/b. The king bed had a comfortable foam type mattress with both a fan and a/c . Major caveat is that there are at least two other Hotel Nandini’s one in India and one in Nepal and advise to look at booking location closely as I failed to do. The travel site graciously did refund my booking when I explained that I was located in Dakha and not Varanasi . Other than that glitch I secured a king bed with daily breakfast for a reasonable daily price for a 3-ish star hotel that was aesthetically pleasing in terms of decor and cleanliness with an emphasis on greenery that was appreciated . Smoking is apparently allowed in rooms and I would suggest that the room itself be physically evaluated before booking for the night as for a non smoker I am unable to comfortably stay in any room that has been smoked in . I did reject two rooms for that reason the night I checked in but felt very comfortable in the very clean room that was smoke free. The breakfast is more than adequate but not lavish . The staff was very pleasant friendly and accommodating at all time and the location is off the busy thoroughfare though one can hear street noises in the room which one gets used to . All in all recommended for its cleanliness and friendliness of staff as well as obvious attention to detail...

I lives in London and I was booked for 2 days on 13th May 2024 that hotel. I had a lots of meetings I arranged that place because of I booked that hotels. My cousins (she) come and see me in the evening at 5pm. From Receiption call me straight way when she arrives at hotels. Receiption are complaining why I bring girl at hotel room and my brother was with me at the same time and we are all cousins . They didn’t tell me that women’s are not allowed in the hotels room. My question is My family members are not allowed in day time ? Which is 5pm. Very disappointed.
The policy of the hotels is not clear. They are cheated with customers. Receptionist he doesn’t know how to behave with customers. Completely uneducated . He needs some customer service training. In 30 minutes I move to another hotels.
I wouldn’t recommend any one to stay this hotels who lives abroad. No way . Very disappointed.
Manager was brilliant. I like...
