I’d been wanting to try this restaurant for quite some time because their food always looked so good in their posts. So for my birthday dinner last night, my husband and I finally went. We reached around 10:45 pm. They remain open till 11:30 pm, even though it’s written 1 am on Google Maps. The building was a little dark with an old lift, but the ambience inside was spot on for a proper Indian/Pakistani dinner. It felt like a very family friendly place, with kids running around and big groups enjoying themselves. The service was good and attentive. For food, we ordered their beef sheekh kabab, Kashmiri butter chicken, paneer karhai, and butter naan. The sheekh kabab had a smoky taste and was really filling. The butter chicken had a rich, sweet and savory gravy. It was tasty, but I’ve had better. Paneer dishes are usually a safe choice, and this paneer karhai didn’t disappoint either. Cooked with tomato and capsicum, it was more on the sweeter side but was absolutely delicious. The butter naan was fluffy and buttery, the perfect pair to all the gravies. I also tried their jeera pani, which was decent but a little sweeter than I expected. I would’ve liked a stronger jeera flavor. To finish off, we had their malai kulfi and that was honestly the highlight! Perfect sweetness, great texture, and really satisfying. While the food tasted good, I do wish the serving sizes were bigger considering the prices. Overall, as a first visit, I’d call it an average experience. Might go back another time to try some of their signature dishes. 🥩Lahori Beef Sheekh Kabab: 889 Tk 🍗Kashmiri Butter Chicken: 889 Tk 🍲Lahori Paneer Karhai: 789 Tk 🧈Butter Naan: 129 Tk 🍹Lahori Jeera Pani: 289 Tk 🍨Malai Kulfi: 489 Tk

This is the new location in Gulshan near Gulshan Avenue. It is more spacious than the last location in Banani. But you could tell the restaurant was still not 100% ready as work was going on in some areas. By the way, our food took 40 minutes. That’s too long. The servers start with complimentary zeera pani which is refreshing. We ordered Kashmiri Butter chicken, mutton makhani karai, Chicken tikka, paneer shahi and naan. The food was tasty but one thing about Lahore I kitchen is the quantity is an issue. The mutton karai was barely enough for 2 people. Also, Just one comment about the butter chicken. It was tasty but we wish it had more gravy because the gravy is what makes a great butter chicken. We finished it with kulfi and chai. Both were very good. Service was notable. Overall, a good experience despite some of the points mentioned.

Lahore by IKitchen truly delivers a remarkable dining experience that reflects the heart and soul of Lahore. From the moment you enter, the elegant décor and warm hospitality set the ideal mood. I had the Lahori Mutton Masala Biryani and the Beef Chapli Kebab with Bone Marrow — absolutely outstanding! The flavors were bold, authentic, and packed with depth. Their selection of kebabs brings back the true taste of Lahore — each bite bursting with character and crafted to perfection. If you're a fan of genuine flavors and a vibrant atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. One visit here, and your culinary expectations will be redefined!

The Seekh Kebabs were a highlight, grilled to perfection and infused with the smoky essence of charcoal, while the Chicken Biryani was a fragrant masterpiece, with tender pieces of meat nestled amidst fragrant basmati rice and aromatic spices.

The restaurant's signature dish, LA JAWAB MUTTON NIHARI, was a revelation, with crispy fried chicken in a secret blend of spices that left me craving for more. And no Pakistani meal would be complete without a serving of freshly baked naan, which was pillowy soft, and perfect for soaking up the rich gravies and sauces.
