Afghan Darbar Restaurant — Restaurant in Antwerp

I used to be a regular client of this restaurant, and I would drive more than an hour to come here. Unfortunately, things have changed. The Qabuli is not the same. The chicken biryani was served cold. The lamb kebab is delicious, but the portion is so small that it is almost laughable. It’s not even a kids size. Therefor you always need to order two portions.

Never order mantu or ashak, because that’s never steamed fresh. I don’t even know what they do with it. It’s really bad.

The lady who is responsabel for the guests is very kind and attentive, but it looks like she has no power or whatsoever, because when you complain she cannot do anything about it to rectify it. This is not her fault, but the managements who apparently doesn’t give her the authority to take care of the clients.

The reason me and my family still came back here was because of reminiscing about the food that was served in the past. Unfortunately, we decided to not come back...

Not even worthy of one star. The restaurant is big scam in the name of food. Cheap quality of food. Bar b q is taste less , chewy, and naan is thick and hard. Kabuli pulao taste is so normal, better i cook at home. Service was so poor. Waiter were running here and there. I had to go to the counter 2 times to ask about extra mint yourgert. tea (chaye- قہوہ ) was bitter in taste. Even the manager in the counter of cash came to us to aplogize about everything. But of no use because DAMAGE HAS BEEN DONE. When we ordere ice creame , i do not know where they were making it, may be in another city.😨 It was delayed so we came out without eating ice cream. We paid bill and felt stupid. Because it was not worth it.I do not recommend this restaurant .The staff was non serious and laughing on something of which i do not have any idea .
