The worst food I ever tasted.

That's how I would describe the food that we had here. It's buffet concept, basically all you can eat. They have the options to select from, you either choose the starters menu or the dessert menu or you choose the complete package. Unlimited drinks come along with the main course.

The starters lacked basic flavour, tasted like coming directly out of the deep freeze. The same was for the small pastries. The filling inside was still frozen😬.

Now coming to the worst part, the fish that we ordered was stale. The bearnaise sauce was disastrous, the fish tasted so bad that we left it the way it was. The croquet they served with the fish were cold, as if they have been fried and left for a while. I've decided to never go again.

We ordered and paid, but you never came to our plate Our disappointment growing, it was hard to abate We looked around, and saw others happily feast While we sat there, with our hunger and disappointment increased

We asked the waiter, where our ribs could be But the answer was not what we wanted to see A delay in the kitchen, a holdup in the grill Our spare ribs, alas, were standing still

But in the end, it was all worth the wait For the spare ribs, they were truly great Juicy and tender, with a perfect char A meal to remember, forever a star

Probably the worst experience I've ever had at a Colmar. The staff doesn't want to be there. It took 2 hours to get our food, after complaining 4 times they came to excuse themselves but still took an hour to get our food while all other tables were getting served. When the food arrived it was even warm for most of us. To then add the cherry on top, we were all sick that night. For me it will be the last time I'll visit this one.

For covid i didn't see any hand sanitizers around the buffet. I would kind of expect that in these times.
