Bar Pêche — Restaurant in Antwerp

“A nice surprise” best describes Bar Pēche perfectly. Tucked away on a nice, little square near the (in)famous Mechelseplein, this bistro exudes a modern, cozy atmosphere. The owners opened their doors for the first time one week ago, and I’ve already been here twice. The menu shows French classics, modern fusion dishes and some original Peche-creations, it seems. Drinks range from conventional wines to natural wines, straight forward beers and the occasional cocktail. We were helped expertly and warmly by the host, and were not disappointed by his recommendations. Dining at Bar Pêche is always a marvelous experience.

My partner and I like to come here every couple of months or so and are always excited to discover a new menu that changes to highlight the fresh produce of the season. All dishes I’ve had here have been well balanced and delicious.
