A Disappointing Experience

This cafe is a typical example of Belgian nonsense—cheap alcohol sold at inflated prices. The bartender seems disinterested, unfriendly, and frankly, neurotic, as if he’s tired of his job and the visitors altogether.

The atmosphere inside is far from inviting; there’s an unpleasant smell reminiscent of urine, giving the impression that hygiene isn’t a priority here. It feels as though the customers might even be drinking and relieving themselves in the corners.

If you’re just stopping by for a quick cup of coffee, it might be tolerable, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend bringing anyone along. The only redeeming quality is its convenient location, easily accessible by public transport with Tram 4 stopping right next to it.

One of the more interesting cafes I’ve been to in Antwerp. Interior is cool. Very casual atmosphere with nice djs time to time. Cool they have a pool table. Cheap for drinks. As far as I know from the times I’ve visited, this place is a hub for creative characters. But sometimes the demographic leans to pretentious hipsters that ruin the entire experience for people who don’t take themselves too seriously. Fantastic upstairs smoking area, people blasting music on bluetooth speakers, graffiti on the walls and smoking inside, the place had such character upstairs.
