Boer van Tienen — Restaurant in Antwerp

The food is good, the service is not bad but badly organised imho with one waiter as the walking equivalent of an ordering pole at McDo's and the others running orders to tables, is not my kind of service nevertheless that is not what caused me to give 'Den Boer' an overall 2 evaluation. There's 5 drought beers from the tap, there's no menu of drinks. This cafe was renowned for its cellar and special beers in corked bottles like Gueuze. This is no longer the case, the offering in beers is limited even considering the offering of Stella Artois. Whole classes of Belgian beers are not represented, even if they can be supplied by SA. This is has been a very disappointing experience for someone who has known 'Den Boer'...

Apparently this bar cheats on prices by making drinks more expensive than what is in the menu, using the technique of charging final bill more as most people will not calculate each drinks to check the correct final price….i ended up paying a Bolleke more than 5 euros which is totally unaccepatble. I live nearby so i used to go there often, but from now onwards I will boicot this place if its waiters are...

The arrogant attitude of the owner (or waitress) is very obvious. We are a group of 8 with 3 children and 2 elderly. Local people are super nice to change seat for us to sit together. If the next door places Lints and Zeppos are not full, I would not come to this place. Surely I will not come again and will not recommend...
