Horrible experience here. I would never come again because they completely rip you off.
To start, I ordered a virgin mojito, which wasn’t on the menu but was recommended by the waiter. By the way, there were no non-alcoholic drinks on the menu at all, so you couldn’t know the price unless you asked. What did I get? A tiny glass filled with ice for €11. Worst part: it wasn’t even good—too sour.
As a starter, I had the tomato mozzarella. What I actually got was a pretty big bowl of salad with a bit of tomato and mozzarella. It was fine, but at €19, way too expensive.
For the main, I took the suggested pasta with meatballs. When I ordered, they asked if I wanted a runny burrata-type cheese on top. I said yes, assuming of course it would be complementary. Spoiler: it wasn’t. The dish itself was fine—the meatballs were okay, the tomato sauce and pasta decent—but the portion was small. The base pasta alone, without the “non-complementary” cheese, was €23.90. Way overpriced.
For dessert, I had a sort of panna cotta, which was actually good, at €11.
Then came the bill—absolutely outrageous for what I got. The so-called “extra” cheese was €7.50. At no point did the waiter mention it would cost extra. Paying more than €30 for a simple, tiny plate of pasta is 100% not worth it. Water, which also wasn’t on the menu, was €9 per bottle.
Overall: horrible communication, mediocre food at best, and insanely overpriced. I will never...
Read moreLast weekend we booked a table for two persons after reading some good reviews on TripAdvisor and Google. We noticed it was very crowdy that evening and tables were pilled together. The waiter showed us our table that was crammed between two other tables with insufficient room between the other couples. When we asked for another table, the waiter answered quiet impolite that no other options were available. As we didn't felt very comfortable about it, we left the restaurant. Once outside, he came back to us with the message that another table was available sitting in the back in a corner. When we remarked him about corona and rules (1.50m between tables, ventilation, CST, ...), he answered very arrogant that nobody told him about these rules. We were both astonished by his answer. As the Covid pandamic is rocking sky-high at the moment, I cannot believe that a restaurant doesn't care more about its customers and their health. Although it wasn't easy for the restaurants the past months, this isn't the way to treat customers. It's a pity we didn't had the opportunity to...
Read moreDespite the positive reviews, our experience was unfortunately disappointing. The atmosphere was lacking, and we observed waiters engaging in heated conversations when the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. Tables for two were positioned too close together, making for a crowded and uncomfortable dining experience. We waited an excessively long time for our food, and the service was rather abrupt. Perhaps it was an off day, but given the price point, we expected a higher level of quality. The food was merely average, not particularly exceptional if you're accustomed to Italian cuisine. We felt more like guests at a local haunt rather than patrons of a fine dining...
