Lovely Kafeïno in the Heart of Antwerp

Kafeïno is a charming spot right in the center of Antwerp, just around the corner from Groenplaats. They serve a truly delicious latte and cappuccino:: smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced. I also tried a refreshing mojito, which was a nice surprise at a coffee place!

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. While I was working on my laptop, I overheard my table companions rave about their waffle and filled croissant... apparently, both were absolutely delightful.

For a place this expensive I was quite disappointed about the food. I took a Jazzy Bagel, but I didn’t feel the Jazz. The idea was there but the execution was poor. The bread was hard and felt and tasted old and it was just impossible to eat without everything falling out. The forks and knives were very dirty, so I chose to eat with my hands. I asked for a hot chocolate and it was a lot of whip cream on top, and it was more cold than hot. The person at the cash register was nice and stayed professional, but I felt as if she was still very new with everything. I paid a total of 27€ for two bagels and two warm drinks. The server was very annoyed. They had no mocca or afogato, even if it was written there. There were plant milk packets on the table, so I asked for a vegan hot chocolate and she said that there are no vegan option. After I pointed on the plant milk and asked if she's sure, she mumbled something that sounded like it's possible but she forgot about that or something.
