Seoul Club House Korean Kitchen & Bar — Restaurant in Antwerp

This was my second time visiting this restaurant in Antwerp. The first time, I went with my Asian friend and we had a great experience, friendly service, delicious food, and amazing cocktails. Everything felt welcoming and enjoyable.

Unfortunately, my second visit was not the same. This time, I went with my black friend (I’m also black myself), and sadly, the way we were treated was noticeably different. The service was poor, and our waitress was quite arrogant and dismissive. It’s really sad and disappointing that things like this still happen in 2025. No one should be treated differently based on who they are.

Luckily, there were a few other staff members who were genuinely kind and made an effort to make us feel welcome, which I appreciated.

The food and cocktails are still excellent, and that’s why I’m still giving a good score. But I truly hope the restaurant takes this feedback seriously and treats ALL their customers equally with kindness...

We've been here three times now and I must admit we're quite surprised by the quality of food.too often most restaurants lack in food quality when it's rush hour or busy. As a former professional chef in some of the top restaurants international I believe in quite trained in my tasting pallet. After three times the taste is pretty good. The chicken dishes are tasteful and not dried out.Which is amazing compared to other restaurants especially the other Korean restaurant on the grote markt.That place is disgusting sorry! If you’re looking for an Instagram-worthy place with flashy furniture and neon signs, this might be for you. But if you care about authentic Japanese or Korean food, you’ll be disappointed.

This place markets itself as a Japanese restaurant but feels more like a themed café trying to cash in on trendy aesthetics. The pool and lounge area might attract young crowds, but the focus is clearly on décor rather than quality. The food is overpriced, lacks authenticity, and seems like an afterthought compared to the effort put into the furniture and vibe.

It’s a shame because the concept had potential. If they spent as much effort on their kitchen as they did on their furniture, this could actually be worth visiting. For now, it’s all style and...
