Pierre Marcolini — Local services in Antwerp

My husband and I visited them in Brussels and twice in this store at Antwerp. The macarons (I highly recommend the Rose flavor) are really one of the best I have tasted. I bought a box of 20 macarons to take on the road with me and the service staff was courteous and helpful. The chef came in halfway and kindly offered us 2 slices of chocolate and caramel cake which was honestly phenomenal. It is really a nice treat for your customers and appreciate the kind offer. We also proceeded to buy about 15 bars of chocolates for our friends and family. I was super excited to stumble upon Pierre Marcolini in Antwerp as a chocolate lover. After reading great reviews about their famous Belgian chocolate, I decided to give it a try. The store had a beautiful exterior and the interior was equally nice. I picked up some chocolates from their holiday collection, which were gorgeously packaged. While the chocolate was a bit pricey, I don't mind if it's high quality. However, when I tried the holiday collection at home, I wasn't really satisfied with the taste. It is not with the place , it is with the establishment . Ordered online a week ago , for a special purpose a box of chocolate to be delivered in Amsterdam.Usually it takes 2 hours drive to reach from Brussels to Amsterdam , but for PM house of chocolate it takes a week and it is still not there. Customer service guys are useless , just vomiting the usual lines but no real help.. Let see if they will refund my order as the whole purpose of the delivery lost its meaning . They are also claiming that the factory is in Brussels but , tracking my parcel showed it was delivered in Arras , France. Poor...
