Local Store — Restaurant in Antwerp

Came for the Sunday Brunch 11.40 am, had to wait and wave to the waitress for about 15 minutes on the terrace outside, though think only 5 customers. After ordering the Sunday Brunch for which publicity is hanging out, the waitress said, sorry mister, kitchen to busy, no Brunch. You have to order before and make a reservation for Brunch. Very strange, it is a simple Local store where you can have a drink with a snack passing by in the shopping street. Two weeks ago I got the same Brunch half an hour later without any problem with another waitress. The other time I got served, the food was ok, only many bees for which they put a bad smelling ground Coffee on fire, to keep the bees (and some customers) away. The Local Store is seemingly the only lunchplace that utilises the peculiar beehive-building next to the Oudaan. It's a industrial but at the same time cozy lunchbar, that has a huge selection of drinks and food. Almost everything is consciously prepared, healthy and at the same time delicious. Beautiful cool place feeling like a indoor garden - you can find here loads of plants and pots for your home. You have a variety of breakfast and lunch options, sweets and coffee.
