I visited your café today during an intense rainstorm — the kind of downpour that leaves people drenched in seconds. The café was completely full, and my sister and I had nowhere to sit. Thankfully, a group of kind Dutch customers saw us standing and kindly offered us to share their table — a simple act of kindness that meant a lot in that moment.
After standing at the counter, reviewing the menu and asking a few questions, I placed my order. When I mentioned that we had found a seat thanks to those friendly strangers, the staff asked, “Do you know each other?” I said no.
Then came the response: “Sorry, if you sit together, you’ll need to pay for the entire table.”
I asked if splitting the bill was possible. Again, I was told “Sorry,” with no attempt to find a solution or show basic flexibility.
Honestly, it felt extremely disappointing — not just because of the strict “one table, one bill” policy, but because of the complete lack of empathy shown in that moment. I was clearly cold, wet, and just grateful to have found a seat in a full café. I also clearly explained that we were not together as a group. Yet I was told I had to cover everyone’s bill simply for accepting a seat offered out of goodwill.
It made me feel unwelcome, and frankly, judged.
Whether it was a rigid rule or unconscious bias, it reflected poorly on what could’ve been a warm...

Read moreI can't give you any information for rush hours but at the time we visited the service was fast and the waitress was friendly.
To our delight there was an English menu and while the options where a bit limited I belive there was something for everybody. Especially if you add the sweets and cakes that are available at the counter.
I personally ordered eggs benedict, they where excellent and I loved the little salad they served with it. The friend who accompanied me had a BLT panini which she loved. Out desert was a brownie and that brownie was one of the best things that happend to my this week, absolutely lovely. Another thing you should try if you vist here is the Limo, we had one with mint and raspberry. In my opinion the coffee is nice but the Limo is the superior option.
If I wouldn't be leaving the city today I would most definitely visit this...
