First of all, very friendly and welcoming staff. When we arrived the waitress warned us that it would be a slow service (because the chef makes everything fresh). Thatâs why we (2 people) only took a main course. I can understand everything but 2,5h just to eat a main course ( and some edamame) is way too much. You donât even have this in Michelin restaurants.
Food. Itâs tasty, well presented. ButâŚtoo greasy, too much oil, too much garlic (for my taste) and way overpriced. We ordered shrimps with lime sauce. It was served with 1 carrot and 4 green asparagus and steamed rice. Very strange. 26,5⏠for 5 shrimps.Sushi with tempura shrimp 16,5⏠and 18,5 ⏠for sushi with crab. Sushi was tasty but too much sauce in my opinion (you barely can taste crab). In general, food is ok but too expensive for what it is (even if itâs freshly made and so on).
There are about 8 tables inside and 4 outside. 2 waiters and Only one cook. Itâs a bit weird distribution of tasks for such a small amount of tables. Consequently, you have to wait veeeeerryyyyy long to get your food. I know that we were warned about slow service but even then, there are limits. At some point, you donât want your food anymore, no matter how good it is.
Mixed feelings about the interior and atmosphere. In general, itâs ok, nothing special but nothing wrong either. However, some weird details: cheap orange paper placemats, ordinary cheap napkins and glasses but nice plates and âexpensiveâ presentation of dishes. Really not comfortable furniture outside and there is no light except for small candles.
I think that they need to serve food faster (get one more person in the kitchen) and review their pricing policy. The fact that everything goes so slow in combination with not reasonable prices, with amount of tables they have, this model can never be profitable in this location.
Conclusion. You can see that this restaurant is just recently opened and that the concept is not yet fully defined. We hope that they will take the remarks above into account and succeed. Because itâs clear that they put their heart in this business and the owners...

Read moreWe had a lovely meal here. It is a smallish, cozy space. Booking was easy. We shared 6 sushi rolls and had water, tea, a glass of wine and dessert. The total came out at around âŹ100. The sushi rolls were beautiful and delicious. Definitely get the fire roll. Interesting presentation and very tasty. Probably my favorite. I liked that there were options to regulate the level of spice, but even the Asian spicy wasnât that spicy according to my husband (I didnât dare). Next time, we will try their non-sushi dishes which looked interesting - spicy mussels, banana leaf baked fish. I would just say that I thought my ginger tea had licorice which I really dislike. If they do add something like that, it would be good to let customers know. I can absolutely...
