Ferrier 30 🇮🇹 — Restaurant in Antwerp

Food is acceptable. Used to be much better, but there is an older man as a waiter (shaved head) that makes the experience very unenjoyable.

We went for dinner there a few months back and this man was extremely rude to my female colleague. She does not speak good Dutch so she felt more comfortable to speak English to him and his reaction was: In Belgium we speak Dutch in a very arrogant tone... My colleague was very upset and because of this she will never come back to this restaurant.

Two weeks ago i went back with some friends and we were 8 people in total. The first thing this man said to us was that we are not allowed to take more than 2 different main dishes in a very arrogant way between 8 people in total...

I told the waiter that we are 8 in total so we would like to have more than two choices. He very arrogantly responded that if i continue we can have only 1....

This waiter's behaviour and way of talking to customers is frankly unacceptable. If I was the owner of this restaurant, this man would be out of the door very fast.

Our hotel recommended Ferrier 30. We were super excited to visit because we love Italian food and it had good reviews. We arrived at 8:12pm for an 8:15pm reservation and were hurriedly seated by their hostess who didn’t walk us to our table but just pointed to a table in the right hand side past the bar. They were clearly busy, which is fine we’ve been to busier places before but nowhere as rude and unprofessional as this place. We sat down around 8:14pm and no one came to our table for 5 min so I got up and went to the bathroom to kill time. Then my husband did the same. We waited there, seated, in the middle of the place for TWENTY MINUTES (with a reservation) and no one acknowledged us. We did not receive water, bread or even a menu! After 20 minutes we got up and left. We will let our 5 star hotel know to never again recommend this place. It is a shame because the food...

The service ruined the mood for the whole evening, on the recommendation of friends, I came to drink Aperol with my girlfriend, before ordering, no one clarified that you should order food and not only drinks, after the drinks were brought, the impolite waiter (an older man) started saying this in a rude tone and took snacks in the form of a bun, tomatoes and olives right from under his nose, it looked from the outside as if some homeless person came there for free. when I asked for a check for payment and made a remark to him about it, he started being rude again and proved that he said that when he brought the menu, but he did not bring the menu, but the female waiter brought it.
