Pizzeria Nuova Era🍕 — Restaurant in Antwerp

Went to eat there yesterday for my birthday, I know their pastas are really good since I occasionally order one through delivery. But going to the place left me somewhat disappointed. Like less good than I hoped, but it could have been worse. So I don’t want to be too harsh in my review. But to sum it up:

Both my mixed bruschetta and my brother in law garlic breads were burned to a crisp, made it once so lovely to see others came out not burned. The young waiter apologised and said he would tell the kitchen. That kinda was it.

I also asked my desert, because I was full but I really wanted to enjoy some pana cotta on my bday still, for takeaway and they came dressed on two plates instead of takeaway regardless of me hearing the waitress screaming to the kitchen it was for take away prior of them coming out. So that kinda well, sucked.

But credit where credit is due. The pastas of all three of us and my husbands pizza were divine when it comes to the flavour and it’s a fair portion.

The place itself has its charm but there can be a lot of yelling and when it gets busy it’s a little hectic. Keep in mind if you’re in a wheelchair or so, the tables are very cramped together and there is barely room to pass through.

But yeah worth the experience, most likely will rather do take-away again but I might go dine in now and then, on less busy moments though :) otherwise it legit drains me far to much, something the waitress with the heart tattoo noticed. I think it was very kind and sweet of her to check in and ask...

Very nice Italian restaurant/pizzeria in Antwerp. After two years living here, I finally found a place where to eat a nice pizza, with real italian stuff on it and in warm and friendly environment. The food is very nice, prices fair, service fast and friendly, definetely a nice place where to have an informal dinner with friends/family.

Normally I would give a solid 4 stars based on our overall experience, but I am giving 5 to compensate for the clearly fake 1 and 2 stars reviews, certainly from some other restaurant's owner in the neighborhood! Try it, you won't be...

We’ve been customers of Pizzeria Nuova Era for about 3 years. In the beginning, the food was decent, but unfortunately the quality and service have gone downhill.

In our last 3 orders, there was always a problem:

The delivery was poorly handled, and the pizza consistently arrived destroyed.

On the most recent order, the pizza was burned, several of the extra toppings were missing, and overall the quality was unacceptable.
