Very good and tasty food, big plates, delicious freddo cappucino! Personnel nice and attentive, on a busy Saturday we were served quite fast. Ordered politiko burger and lamb skewers, the meat was properly done and with a good combo of spices. Both served with pita, tzatziki, fries and salad. Previous times tried some gyros, mix grill, pita with olive oil and oregano, all good.

Helaas heeft mijn 2e bezoek er toe geleid dat ik deze plaats moet beoordelen met een score van 2 sterren. De tweede ster is voor het vriendelijke personeel en het traditioneel Griekse terrasje maar wanneer er sprake is van risico’s voor de menselijke gezondheid, moet hier ook voor gewaarschuwd worden. Tijdens mijn eerste bezoek bestelde ik een pita Gyros met varkensvlees. Deze was goed van smaak en het brood is overheerlijk. Tijdens mijn tweede bezoek besloot ik om de kip te proberen en ik had liever gehad dat ik het bij mijn eerste keuze had gelaten. Het was 32 graden op deze avond en de kip was volledig roze en niet doorbakken. Dit terwijl het maar een aantal kleine stukjes waren en helaas zag ik dit pas aan het einde van mijn broodje, met alle gevolgen van dien. Besluit je om dit schattige Griekse restaurantje aan de Groenplaats een kans te geven? Waag je dan zeker niet aan de kip! Salmonella it could be… (Update: Daarnaast zie ik dat ik helaas niet de enige ben die rauwe kip kreeg voorgeschoteld en vind dit zodoende dan ook schandalig dat hier niet meer aandacht aan besteed wordt)..

We just happened by here when we are out walking around, the owner got us a table in about 30 seconds and we were able to put in our order very quickly. We had some drinks and some food which were all super delicious. Everybody that we talked to was really nice and the food was great and the place is really inexpensive. This is a solid stop if you’re in town.

We had a terrible experience at this restaurant. When we arrived and asked if we could order at the counter they told us to get seated and staff would get our order. We have been waiting for over 30 minutes. The waiter only catered the other few tables, that were taken. Another couple of people arrived and they were also treated the same way - they even had to ask twice if their order would be taken. But no one came to them and us, so we all left. The restaurant was not even busy. Maybe 3 tables occupied.

Updated after owner's response: There are not many greek restaurants in the area, so rest assured I left a comment for the correct one. Maybe other people had a great experience, but we personally felt disappointed. Just pointing out that it was strange to not let customers know that waiting time to even get the menu would be over 30 minutes or if it was even possible...

After being refused by several restaurants, we came by this one and decided to try it. The man was very quick to accommodate us and clear a table while the restaurant was crowded. He also took time to explain the menu to us. We took the mixed grill platter, a gyros, and a salad. Everything was excellent and quick to arrive (for a busy restaurant). The plates were consistent and the meats were flavorful. It was our first time in Antwerp and we really enjoyed our meal.

The restaurant is well situated next to the city center and our hotel. Can become a bit noisy if it's full but it did not tint our experience.

The food was one of the best I’ve tasted in a long time. Every single thing on the place was delicious. The tzatziki was what especially shocked me and it paired perfectly with the bread. I don’t usually eat vegetables or even salad but the side salad was really good. The man serving us was very nice and even if the food did take a while to get prepared, I’d say it was well worth it.
