Tartoer - Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Antwerp

Many years ago, when animals could still talk, this corner shop housed a butcher store, 'Van den Brande'.

DogMom went there as a little girl together with her grandma, and always got a meaty treat. What a feast!

Now it is my turn to get a treat here in this corner shop. When DogMom stops there for their delicious coffee or mulled wine , I take the opportunity to say hi to my handsome friend Emmo.

The cinnamon roles are awesome (and vegan!). I also heard the same about the chocolate chip cookies , but I'm not allowed to taste them myself....

This little cafe looks very cute and cozy from the outside and gets normally full. I had ice coffee and what I got was basically water: even the color was ugly and it had no taste. I tried a pie and it tasted good but it was quite soft and did not have a the right texture. I was quite dissappointed because the place looks like the type of cafes I love, and it is great to have such a variety of pies. Hopefully regular...

This is a delightful and surprising coffee shop. I stumbled upon it when I was desperate for some real strong coffee and cake. I was not disappointed. The cafe is so quint and cosy. It has a really nice staff and good service. The cakes are divine and the coffee is a dream. If you want to catch up on some newspaper reading this is the place. The venue provides free wi-fi access as well and it is gem amongst other cafe's...
