A pretty spectacular place oozing with charm and character. Eye catching patterned floors, old wooden tables which could tell a thousand stories, old style gloss paint and flamboyant wallpaper and brewery signs adorn the walls. Brugs Beertje boasts both great draft options and an extensive and impressive bottled beer list that will cater for those new to Belgian beers and also highly accustomed beer nerds. I highly enjoyed a bottle of De Cam which was both jammy and tart, and went wonderfully with a plate of cubed cheese, pickles and delicately chopped red pepper with a firey mustard. I finished on a draft 15% Belgian Italian imperial stout which was very worty and thick! It is perhaps among the more tourist-heavy beer spots I've seen in Belgium but equally it was delightful to hear a range of nationalities enjoying their visit. Service was fantastic and I felt well looked after. All well-run establishment well worth visiting. I very much look forward to returning.

This place has always been about one thing—Belgian beer. Right in the heart of Brugge, it looks as honest and historic as it feels. Locals and tourists mix naturally here, drawn together by one of the best beer selections in the country. Forget the food—come for the beer. If you’re serious about exploring the full range of Belgian brewing, this is where you start. Yes, there are a few familiar commercial names, but they’re outnumbered by an impressive lineup of small, independent producers. Even if Belgian styles aren’t usually your thing, you’ll find something to enjoy—and likely learn a lot in the process. A true essential stop for any beer lover in Brugge.

If you're a tourist and looking for a typical Belgian speciality 'brown' pub, where the locals go to have a drink: this is it. 't Brugs Beertje offers a huge amount of Belgian and other beers and browsing the entire beer menu is like reading a novel. Service was very friendly and the prices are often more reasonable than other speciality beer pubs in Bruges. Highly recommended. Be aware the place can be packed due to its popularity amongst locals and the better informed tourists.

The place and beer is great, but the waiter was quite arrogant and impatient. We ordered snacks and few minutes later we wanted to change the order, so i just asked if he had already made the order. The waiter assumed I was rushing him and got angy and started yelling in front of all guests that he has a lot of costumers waiting and that we are not alone there. I tried to explain that i was not rushing him but was unheard as he had left while I was still talking to him. After my second attemp he still was not listening and left as if He was pissed. I tried to explain myself thrice. Did not succed. That guy has earned no tip and a bad review for them with his totally unacceptable behaviour for such an well...

For beer lovers this is one of three places to go in Brugge( Bruges), but personally, it's my favourite.

It's an old pub, roughly thirty-six years old yet one might argue it's as old as a hundred... that time has simply stood still all that time. You've got roughly a few hundred beers to choose from, most Belgian, but several from abroad as well. Along side some typical pub finger food, pickles and small onions, cheese-, or salami cubes, sandwich with ham, etc... Service is good and the guys know their stuff, elegantly pouring the beer into its glass with a nice collar on top.

Wouldn't recommend here coming here in large groups, but if you're coming for a beer or more with three lads you...
