Bla Bla Pub Bistro — Restaurant in Brussels

Avoid this place. The croquettes my wife received were cold in the middle, and when we pointed it out, they took the dish back and returned it after having mashed them and microwaved them. We told them this wasn't acceptable and that we wanted new ones that weren't mashed. When the waitress mentioned this would take some time, we instead asked to replace the dish with fries, as the rest of us had already started eating our meals. When the waitress came back a while later, my wife received both fries and new croquettes, with the latter being offered on the house. We finished our meal and were ready to pay, but noticed both dishes were on the receipt. When we reminded them that they had offered one of the dishes for free, the waitress, after consulting with her manager, claimed that since we had eaten the dish, we had to pay. The waitress also vaguely stated that we "should have mentioned it earlier," which we had already done when we asked to replace the dish. It was their decision to bring more food than we ordered and to offer us one of them for free. We were unable to speak with the manager and ended up leaving feeling cheated and poorly treated. Worst lunch experience ever! The waitress was very rude, €5 for a small bottle of water then we got the chicken skewers that’s came with one chicken skewers about 5 salad leaves and 10 potato wedges for €15 definitely not worth the price at all. We then asked the waitress for the drinks menu she gave it to us then we try to order coffees and she said there’s none left, which was a complete lying concidering everyone sitting around us were being brought coffees to them. When we went to pay she didn’t say anything or even look at us. Such bad service and food...
