À little shop with really delicious stuff. I went there for a couple of months, always ordering "One latte, please" and each and every time getting the question back: "single shot or double shot ?" An extra shot is listed on the menue, costing an additional 60 cents. So today I told the young woman that I just want to get what I was ordering, no extras. I also told her that I don't like the permanent question about things I did not order. "Oh, you know there are customers that don't know that!" she replied, and I am sure she wanted to be friendly, but her answer made it only worse. So I didn't reply for not starting an argument and waited for my latte. Another young woman finally presented it to me - in a paper cup..."No way, I didn't order a take-away-coffee" I said. Another young man proudly presented a little paper receipt he got from the cashier, saying "latte to go". Well, that got me and I told once again that I just want to get what I was ordering, and I never ordered a doubleshot or a take-away or whatsoever. Of course they offered me making a new latte in a cup, but unfortunately I was asking why they keep on asking for things the customers are not asking for. "That's called customer service" the young woman taught me. Even though I already paid in advance for an excellent but expensive coffee I left the shop immediately without taking a coffee. I was fed up and will not return. If I want to take a coffee break I do not want to be treated like someone who is not capable tying his shoe-laces or sees ordering a latte as a task that may well be too complex to handle it alone. And even more: when I try to communicate that, it means that I care for the shop. Well, I did, but that's over. I don't see getting on my nerves as...
Read moreWe visited this coffee shop after seeing the rave reviews on Google and hearing recommendations from both locals and others. The place was fairly crowded, but I must say the waiter was extremely kind, explaining everything to us in detail and serving us quickly. We even asked for two glasses of water, which were given to us free of charge—a nice gesture.
The coffee prices seemed fair, provided the quality matched what was being advertised. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The coffee was, quite simply, burnt. I’ve been part of the specialty coffee world as a consumer for about four years now. I’m not claiming to be an expert, but I’ve had my fair share of coffee, and this was far from good. The flavor was so bad that I couldn’t even finish it. If I’m not mistaken, an espresso costs around €3.30 here. I’m willing to pay that price, but not for this level of quality.
Are you the best specialty coffee shop? Or even one of the best? I don’t think so. I’m sorry to say that. Maybe it was a one-off mistake, perhaps due to the high volume of customers that day—I can’t be sure. But this isn’t a neighborhood café; it’s located in a premium area of the city, and expectations are higher.

Read moreMy friend had a horrible customer experience in this place! Baristas were laughing at her and making jokes behind my friend’s back! Very unprofessional and disrespectful team they have. It was a Saturday after lunch, we ordered 3 drinks, the last one being an iced capuccino. We told the cashier that we are sitting inside and she said she would bring the drink to our table. Minutes had passed and my friend still didn’t have her drink. She went to the counter to ask and the baristas were sarcastic to her and laughing at her back.
My friend went privately on their IG page to address the issue and they gaslighting her saying that she misunderstood the baristas. (??) There is no misunderstanding when someone laughs at you while you go away with your drink.
We did not have a good experience and how we felt was not validated by the managers.
Honestly, their coffee is good and the place is instagramable, but do you really want to go there just for the sake of a few pretty pictures? There are plenty of amazing cafés around Brussels with better quality in coffee and customer experience!
I am not...
