Cute casual café conveniently located by much of Brussel’s artsy and royal tourist attractions! This beautiful café is remarkably spacious and open, with perpetually open giant doors / floor-to-ceiling windows, tall ceilings adorned with industrial decor, and plenty of outdoor seating that allows you to gaze out on the park. They have a good number of meat and vegetarian options, although they were strangely out of salad when my friend and I visited. She got a normal burger and I their veggie burger, and we both, of course, got a side of fries. The veggie burger was tasty, with a piece of grilled halloumi for the protein, and roasted eggplant, then fresh tomato and lettuce. It was a fun combination and felt a bit more elevated than the average veggie burger, but I felt the execution could have been better. The halloumi was quite small and a smidge overcooked, so there wasn’t a lot of protein. The eggplant was also definitely overcooked and almost rubbery and dry, so it made the overall burger a bit difficult to chew. Even so, I enjoyed the combination of flavors and the fries were tasty, albeit a...

What a shame to have replaced the former nice café and restaurant Mont des Arts by this horrible bar. It is dirty and they serve only low level junk food. The French fries look bad and also taste so. They can't even prepare junk food properly. The music is so loud you cannot talk with your colleagues anymore without yelling and getting a headache. It was such a nice chill out place to discuss after work. The worst are the Toilets. Ok those inside are broken but they put a container outside open to all not just customers and it has no functioning lights and smells horribly.. the used paper is spread all over the place. Using your cellphone lights shocking how dirty and unhygienic they are. It does not seem that the staff cleans them regularly if at all. A huge dispointment. I want the former owner back or at least a place with the same chill atmosphere and fancimess as before. This one does not fit in such a beautiful historical settings of buildings and beautiful views and gardens. A real shame and totally...

I went here on Saturday 2 July and ordered drinks and food.

After 30 minutes of waiting, the food was still not ready. At this point, I asked your colleagues what was going on and they said it would be ready ‘soon.’

I waited another hour and the food was still not ready. This is when I asked for a refund (€25). Your colleague Carola said they could not refund to my main bankcard as it isn’t Banccontact. But they said they could do it to my Mastercard. So we tried this on my MasterCard. However, instead of refunding, they took another €25 from my card, drawing the conclusion that they couldn’t refund to my card. I asked for €50 cash back and they said they didn’t have any cash. So they took my bank details, telephone number and name and they said their ‘manager’ would refund the money that day.

I still haven’t seen any transfer from you nor have you tried to call me.

Can you please transfer the money? If you have issues with this call me on the number I gave you?

Really not happy with...

My 3 friends and I visited on a Tuesday evening for dinner and had a lovely experience! You order and pay for everything at the bar, then seat yourself. They had a couple open tables indoors (the others were occupied or reserved), and many tables outside. We were given buzzers for our food, and it was ready very quickly. I was able to get a burger with fries and sauce for €16: a very fair price for Brussels, I think. The bar and kitchen staff were very friendly and we had a great time. My only qualm is when I used the toilet (which did not cost anything, I might add), the stall doors were chin height on me, giving me a full view of the room and anyone else standing in their stalls. I was alone, thank goodness, but this was very strange. Otherwise, though, it was the perfect dinner experience for us.

When we have arrived the place was full, and they were not taking orders. The guy at the bar told us that they had just one person in the kitchen who was doing her best to fulfill all the orders. He said that we could drink something and wait some 30 minutes. He was kind and gave an excellent advice on which beer we could enjoy. And I am happy to have followed his suggestion. After 20/30 minutes he came to tell us that we could order. We ate an excellent hamburger with fries. I would have given 5 stars in everything, and I understand that may happen that an employee may be absent without notice. They did their best to make our staying comfortable, and therefore give 4 stars. But not 5 because that should have a backup plan …
