If you're in Brussels, Delirium Pub is an absolute must-visit. I spent five days in the city and ended up going there three times, that's how good it is.
This place is legendary, especially among tourists, but locals love it too. Whether you're looking for a spot during the day or a place to hang out at night, Delirium is always buzzing. One thing to note: they don’t serve food, so make sure you eat beforehand. But when it comes to drinks, it's paradise. They offer hundreds of beers, from sweet and light to strong and bold, every flavor you can imagine. For beer lovers, the beer meter is a must-try: 10 little different beers for €30.
The vibe is amazing. Inside, the music is upbeat, but not so loud that you can’t have a conversation. The space itself is massive: think three floors including a terrace, and what feels like a labyrinth of rooms. You can easily find a quiet corner with your group, or walk around and meet people. I had a night where I ended up talking with over a dozen different people, it’s that social and welcoming.
It’s self-service, so you’ll have to order your drinks directly at the bar. But the staff is quick, and the system works well even when it’s crowded.
Sometimes on the upper floor, they dim the lights and crank up the music for a few minutes to create a mini dance break. It's unexpected and adds to the playful, dynamic energy of the place. And if you're there with someone special, don’t miss the little photo booth: €3 gets you two pictures, one for each of you, a fun and unique souvenir.
In short: Delirium is more than a bar, it's an experience. Whether you're beer-curious or a seasoned connoisseur, whether you want to relax or mingle, it’s the kind of place you’ll remember long...

Nestled in the heart of Belgium, known for its exquisite beer culture, Delirium Café stands out as a must-visit destination for those looking to immerse themselves in the vast world of Belgian brews.
Upon our early evening arrival, my wife and I were greeted by a vibrant yet welcoming atmosphere that beckoned us deeper into its folds. The real charm revealed itself as we made our way to the bar in the basement, a cozy enclave that felt like stepping into a beer connoisseur’s best-kept secret. The space, though bustling, maintained an air of intimacy and warmth that made us feel right at home.
The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the service provided by our bartender. With an impressive knowledge of the extensive beer selection and a keen sense of what we might enjoy, he expertly guided us through our choices. His recommendations were spot-on, allowing us to explore and appreciate a range of flavors that we might not have ventured to try on our own.
We lingered for about 2.5 hours, a testament to the café’s captivating charm and the quality of its offerings. By the time we decided to depart, the place had filled to the brim, a clear sign of its popularity and the high regard in which it is held by both locals and visitors alike.

Read moreThis place is all about hype and paying bloggers to market. I am not a lover of any beer and would like to add my calories only for real tasty beers that are worth it. I drink beer only when I travel to countries like Poland, Czech Republic and Belgium and also only from breweries fresh and love it. We went to leffe brewery in Dinant, Minnie brewery at Durbuy and Antwerprse Brouw Campaigne at Antwerp and they serve the real yummy Belgian beer. This Delerium Cafe and their beer is a crap and even locals say not a good beer at all to Belgian standards but somehow marketing tactics in saying that they serve the large variety of beers makes it a tourist trap. Ofcourse if you are looking for varieties supermarkets also offer many bottled beers at much less price however we visit breweries for beers that are fresh from their production. Unfortunately we had many breweries closed on Monday and we ended up in a bar like this. Overall Brussels don't seem to have better beers like in Dinant (leffe), Durbuy and Antwerp as we tried Cantillon beer which was vouched in many google search listings but was very sour and not up to some of the best beers we tried in smaller towns at Belgium. Overall if you want to get best beers at Belgium better head to places like Dinant, Durbuy or Antwerp than the Capitol...
