I and my friends had the pleasure of dining at Le Pêcheur, a hidden gem of a seafood restaurant located in Brussels. From the moment I entered, I was captivated by the charming coastal-inspired decor that transported me to the seaside. The menu at Le Pêcheur showcases an impressive selection of fresh seafood dishes, prepared with great care and attention to detail. The culinary team clearly prioritizes the quality and flavor of their ingredients. Whether you're a seafood aficionado or new to the delights of the ocean, there is something for everyone. The seafood platter is one of the highlight, featuring an assortment of delicacies such as succulent shrimp, tender calamari, and perfectly cooked lobster. Each piece was expertly seasoned and presented beautifully on the plate. Le Pêcheur also offers an extensive wine list, with knowledgeable staff members who are more than happy to suggest pairings for your meal. I was impressed by the sommelier's recommendations, as they perfectly complemented the flavors of the seafood. The service at Le Pêcheur was attentive and friendly. The staff members were knowledgeable about the menu and were able to answer any questions I had. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a romantic dinner or a special occasion. If I were to offer any constructive feedback, it would be that the dessert options were somewhat limited. While the choices were delicious, I would have loved to see a wider variety to end the meal on an even higher note. In conclusion, Le Pêcheur is an exceptional seafood restaurant in Brussels that truly showcases the flavors of the ocean. With its delectable dishes, warm ambiance, and attentive service, it is a must-visit for seafood enthusiasts and those looking for a memorable dining experience. I will certainly be returning to Le Pêcheur in the future to indulge in their remarkable seafood creations once again.

Ordered Mussels with white wine , garlic & celery. Taste with just a hint of briny freshness and succulent mussels and wine was not overpowering too in stock. Another order of linguini Marinara mixed Seafood @32euro / order comes with Razor Clams, Mussels, Calamari & Gambas. Good size portion again. All shared by 2 accompanied by beer . A great way to start our first dinner within 30 mins arrival at Brussel Central Station. However Head Waiter ( the one who takes our order ) comes over to our table after I settle the bill at counter at end to ask for tips thrice up close personally which I find annoying. I rather hand it to the waiters instead who serves and clear our tables. Note the beer probably prices were upsized without asking us if we wanted it as menu we pointed was for the standard size. We realized only halfway when we compared to other diners around us at other tables that ours was kinda bigger. Lol Overall a pleasant experience to all except old Head Waiter or is it the owner am not sure but he is the only one in black jacket.

We were here for dinner, hoping to taste some typical fish specialities, but it was a total disappointment. The place initially presented itself kind of well, with neatly organised tables (with tablecloths, a rarity outside from Italy) and living lobsters in the aquarium. However, after the first impression, one starts to notice that the floor is covered with remains of food (even on the staircase, which is also terribly steep and dangerous to climb) and the entire looks pf the dining room are kind of scruffy: a great example are the remains of food under the candle at the centre of the table or the dirty walls. Our table wobbled and the napkins of those who had sat there were left on the floor. The waitress also forgot to bring us napkins. The toilet is absolutely terrible: dirty and badly-kept, I have hardly ever seen such a dirty and unhygienic place in a lot of time. Now, coming to the food, the delusion was complete: I took the marinated mussels, the mussels themselves were ok, tasteless but at least eatable. There were giant pieces of celery and awfully big cut onion, but the worst was the “sauce” at the bottom of the pot, which consisted basically of water from the cooking, no taste nor density. We were also not served any bread, so I don’t see the point of adding such awful “sauce”. The mussels with white wine were practically the same but with a sickening, cheap sugary white wine taste. The only -ok- thing were the fries. The price, ranging from €24-29 is outrageously high and the price-quality ratio is despicable. But the absolute worst was the Special Moulles Le Pêcheur, which consists of a mass of seafood (salmon, mussels, razor clams etc.) with some awful tasting sauce as a topping. I have never tasted seafood so disgusting in my entire life. The fact that the shells were mixed with the salmon and other fish pieces made it impossible to even try to enjoy it, but the real problem was that the fish itself was terrible: the razor clams, for example, were poorly cleaned and tasted sandy. The price for this dish was €32, which deserves no further comment. Some friends also ordered the €17 croquettes, which were ok, but for such a price one would expect more than 2 middle sized supermarket-tasting croquettes. I believe this was one of the worst restaurants I have ever tried, I personally despise the choice to purposefully make customers pay so much for such low quality food (as I have said, less than supermarket level) to me, this shows disrespect for the customer and disregard for money. The policy of this restaurant is blameworthy, and I advise no-one to never visit it. Unfortunately, I must rate it 1⭐️, but it would deserve way less.

I had huge expectations, I ended up very disappointed and sad. Our experience was the following: We ordered an entrée and a main dish for two. -Couteaux de mer -Trio de poissons The Couteaux de mer had a lot of sand. The taste was OK, nothing surprisingly , but the sand made impossible to eat them. Our main complain is about the trio de poissons. The fish and shrimps didn't have flavor at all, not spices nor anything. It was very disappointing. The dish comes with two sauces, but even the flavor of those was inexistent. It didn't even have salt. The lobster was fine. The mussels were cold and also, as everything else, without flavor. However, they were not the worst part of the food. The service was not good. We had some doubts about what to order, we asked the waiter for help and made him some questions about the portions. His answer was, is that all? Tell me quickly, quickly what you want. At the end, when he asked us how was it, we told him the truth, that we didn't like the food, that it had no flavor. He didn't say anything. Remained in silence. I upload the photos of the food as we received it, for the second photo I took away the lobster, so the mussels would get exposed. As you can see, it doesn't really look appetizing. The Bill was of 45 € pro Person. Definitely not worthy.

It was the worst experience for me. I ordered full lobster but big parts of the lobster was empty!! all the part in the upper half was empty! There is only garlic pieces in the two uppers half of the lobster !!! that mean the best part of the lobster was empty !! Very disappointed ! Like you see in the pictures ! When i called the waiter , he tell me thats true it is empty and i will see with the chef! After that he took the dish and he return after a while with something that wasn’t lobster, they just put something not cooked to full the empty places ! It was very bad feeling, i get scammed !! If it was only one half empty we can say the chef made a mistake !! But if it was two half are empty , we cant say this is mistake !! Here we talk about tourist scam restaurant, and this is not honest! It is so ridiculous really ! Also there is no tissue on the table! You have to ask them ! The cups are dirty Last thing even the toilet was very dirty and disgusting ! 0 organisation 0 professionalism 0 Cleanliness They deserve less than one star I never return to , and i dont recommend this restaurant

We recently visited Le Pêcheur restaurant in Brussels and had a terrible experience. The service was rushed and we were forced to switch tables for no apparent reason. It was clear that the staff wanted us to hurry up and order, which made us feel very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the food was not good. We ordered the burrata and paella, but both dishes were disappointing. The burrata was bland and lacked flavor with bad tomatoes, while the paella was overcooked and dry. But the worst part of the experience was getting sick after the meal. Both my dining companion and I suffered from nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps. It was clear that the food was not prepared properly and was not safe for consumption. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The service was poor, the food was not good, and we got sick after eating there. It was a truly unpleasant experience and I would suggest that others look elsewhere for a meal in Brussels.
