I recently visited the restaurant, and unfortunately, the experience was a disappointment. Already upon arrival I didn’t feel particularly welcome; the waitress avoided eye contact and seemed more occupied with the group at the table next to mine. She even sat down with them from time to time, which gave quite a sloppy impression, especially when the service already felt lacking.

After waiting half an hour, I was informed that the dish I had ordered, “rice and peas,” was sold out, and I was given plain rice instead without any further explanation. When the food finally arrived, there were still delays with the side dishes I was waiting for. We just arrived in Belgium late on a Monday from Germany and Australia, and stumbled upon this place. The host was incredibly friendly and explained all the options in perfect English—which I really appreciated, as I only speak Spanish and English. It's a one of a kind experience. Managers and workers are full of joy.We ate delicious congolese plate and jamaican too.
