Tried so many restaurants and honestly forgot how is look when someone from the staff bully you in their restaurant 🙄 Unfriendly, unwelcoming atmosphere” . Almost not eatable food … I do not know who the owner of this bar but a well-mannered owner would never allow such a “staff” in his business. Why this kind of people work in your restaurant? Or it was owner by himself? I booked through Google and confidentiality walk to the restaurant, opening the doors, the staff did not greet us and didn’t welcome…He asked for the name of the reservation, it turned out that my name was not on the list, he asked to check the reservation and show him, I began to search for this reservation on my phone then he saw it cannot find and he started to laughed and asked me to take a picture of the menu on their board and take a table, to which I asked: “do you no longer need my reservation? “ He turned away .. his staff start to laugh.. ummmm very confused… Then the waitress came up, I found the reservation and showed her, to which she said that it didn't matter, most likely they forgot to look at Google... so why then you make a drama at the entrance? I am your guest. We ordered a scallop dish and it was brought to us in 2 minutes. Cold and childish.... Then crab pasta .. the pasta was cooked for a long time ago probably, the taste was harsh , the crab was cold … So in the end we left with a no goodbye, no thank you, no appreciation… So honestly , this is not a place with good service, respect for...
Read moreFirst off, the quality of the crab was not up to standard nor was the stench the food possessed. I was going to throw up several times due to the smell of the fish as well as the dirty glass for water and wine. The waiter asked me for my opinion which was honest as my food was untouched. I did pay the full bill and after I expressed my experience he suddenly disappeared and stopped serving us and we had to request the lady help us with the remainder of our dinner. When I travel the world I do so to experience different cultures including cuisines and I am grateful enough to afford any restaurant I choose to dine in. That being said taste was bad as the coordination of flavors wasn’t correct to my pallet and 3 other individuals dining with me, the atmosphere was nice but the service is what ruined it to the level Of completion as a terrible Experience and service. I would not consider returning but I will also contact the owner so he can be aware of the discrepancies in his restaurant including the two chefs eating from pans after plating food that wasn’t to ensure taste is on point it was because they were munching on every dish served I also want to mention our dinner plates were cracked and chipped which is disgusting given the plate was moving while eating. I will be updating my review soon with photos to show everyone the level Of what I have described in...
Read moreI discovered this restaurant only recently and I've loved it every time I went: excellent quality of ingredients, particularly the seafood is always fresh. Menu changes according to what fresh produce there is, so there's always something new to discover. The oyster gin tonic (yes, you read that right and yes, it is what you think) is such a cool idea. Very good takes on different surf and turf combinations, all very creative recipes and excellently cooked.
On top of the excellent food, the service is very good too - friendly and welcoming, relaxed but attentive. One time we were offered a table towards the end of the evening and we were worried they would push us to leave approaching closing time, as is so often the case in this city, but they made us feel welcome throughout and beyond, asked if we wanted dessert and even offered us a digestif at the end! It's things like this that can make the jump from a good place to a favourite place.
Definitely recommended - you can end up spending a bit but to be honest there are so many pretentious seafood restaurants where you pay even more for poor food and stiff service, so a visit here, while not necessarily affordable on a weekly basis, is...
