Il Colosseo — Restaurant in Brussels

For pizzas, we ordered Colloseo (recommended), swapped the ham out with chicken as the ham contains pork, and also ordered caprese (not sure how to spell it). When they came, the pizzas were piping hot and the cheese could be pulled! The crusts were even crispy all the way! For pasta, we were recommended the 4 cheese pasta which tasted really good too! We asked take away so I can't review the ambiance of this place. We got pizzas, pasta and escalopes. The escalope with pasta was really good, the meat was tasty and soft. I had 4 cheeses sauce on it and I can't complain of the quality. My friends who ordered only pasta complained it tasted very bland and that there was too little sauce in it. The pizza was just standard, not better nor worse than most places. I guess it's an average place, good enough for pizza and escalopes, but I wouldn't recommend it...

Best Italian in Brussels. The place doesn’t look the fanciest place in Brussels, but it’s run by a lovely, friendly and amazing Italian family. The prices are more than fair and the quality of the food is just outstanding. If that wouldn’t be enough, the cook and the waiter make everyone one feel really welcome from the first moment.
