My first bar experience in Ghent, and I was pleased in all respects. I asked for Belgian beer recommendations, and the two I tried were great. The bartender/owner took the liberty to describe the variety of beer, history, and music on the walls. He advised me on where to travel in Western Belgium. The music, location, and ambience was good — next time in Ghent I will certainly like to come back...
