The fact that they call “small” a dish of pasta that is enough for 2 people to be full when there are so many people starving in this world is shameful. I would have appreciated that the waiter had told me it was that big, cause since there were sizes small, medium and large I never imagined such a huge plate. I spent almost 25 euros on 2 spaghetti pesto when me and my mom left more than half of each and it broke my heart that so much food would finish in the garbage. They asked us if we wanted to take it away but being Italian that pasta was way too boiled and the “pesto” was not good either. Also more than 7 euros for a liter of water is abusive and the girl behind the bar is hitting stuff constantly making SO MUCH noise (it even seems she does it on purpose), which is pretty annoying if you want to eat in peace. At one point one of the waiters passed through us with the huge wheeled garbage container. Not really appropriate. Never coming back and don’t recommend...
Read moreArriving late at the hotel, I was recommended by the hotel staff to try this pasta restaurant. While looking through the menu, staff recommended me to try their signature pasta dish and he explained there are three different sizes?? Ok, I went for a medium...when it arrived, the cheese was far too much to the point I had to take out my phone to take a photo. After I have been to Italy many times,, I have never seen something like that. Meat pasta taste poor!! The amount of cheese is almost the same as the pasta. When I went in, I should have noticed there are Heinz ketchup and Tobasco in each tables which you wouldn't find in any Italian restaurant. It is a bit pricey too. Pasta plus a still water costs almost 17 💶 !! When I paid the bill, the boss was busy counting money and didn't even greet with a smile. Another standard tourist style...
Read moreNice place, good pricing and a huge bowl of pasta, the small size is equivalent to a gigantic portion compared to other places. Beware of this when ordering. You don't get ripped off at this place, you def. get your moneys worth. My beautiful wife studied in Gent and has an obsession with this place, apparently there is some kind of mythos surrounding the 'spaghetti kastart', with the secret 'kastart' sauce being the equivalent of Mr. Krabs secret ingredient for the krabby patty (from Spongebob for the culturally illiterate among us). Almost everyone orders this dish, people even order the sauce to make their own at home. Agreed it was really tasty. Would recommend if you...
