Friendly, charming and motivated personel. They know their menu and are willing to help. This was my first time at Jilles but I hope to have the opportunity to come more. Awesome beer-menu and some quality burgers.
I ate the Ill Commodore burger and drank a Pampero Especial (without ice) and a Rostekop, their house brewed Amber beer. Which I recommend, although not being the best beer I've had it most certainly is one of the better house-brewed beers I've had.
The only remark I have is the price of the Burger's, which isn't cheap but very much understandable for the service and qualify you get. The second is that not all beers were in stock, especially the VanDerGhinste Oud Bruin, a beer I would have loved to try.

Ordered a drink before dinner and complementary drinks with the burger, but at the time the before dinner drinks arrived the burger was already there. So we canceled the matching drinks for the burgers. For the burger itself: the meat was dry and it was a small piece compared to the complete burger. There was no time to have a desert because you only have a 30 minutes window to eat. We were sitting close to the kitchen, the door was open and the music was very loud in the kitchen, that music even went over the music in the restaurant itself. General conclusion: way overpriced for the received service and quality of food: payed €45 for 2 burgers...
Read moreWe ordered sangria, but it was not available, we ordered a mojito and it didn't taste at all like a mojito, no sweetness, no mint flavour or lime, and I've never heard of a mojito made with gassed water, they allowed me to change to another drink, a virgin porn star it was better, sweet but a bit too sweet in my opinion, but it tasted OK. The beer rostakop tastes interesting but it's not our taste but it's worth a try. The rostakop croquettes tasted good but the middle was still a bit frozen, the jaques brell burger was juicy and pleasant, the Benoit poulet was very good but it was a bit salty, the bread is amazing.
