McDonald's — Restaurant in Ghent

Annoying experience, never going back to this location!!!

I went to pick up the food at 12.15pm today and I chose to pay at the counter. Somebody came to get me the receipt at the counter but then the paper was finished for printing and I didn't get my receipt. However the payment was made but the person didn't know how to make it right so she went away and asked me to wait for another person. Then another person came and she also asked me to wait for another person but nobody came up because it was rush hour and when I asked one of the person at the counter (a short heighted fair boy, wore grey coat), he literally shouted 'Ik ben bezig met mijn bestelling'. Oh come on!! then who was I !!! I was also a customer who paid. Such a racist attitude and customer handling. Then I waited for the manager, she came up and resolved the issue. If you can't give proper customer experience during rush hour then definitely you fail. PS - All these positive stars are only for...

What a terrible experience! I ordered through Uber Eats, and after waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes, the wrong order arrived. I called McDonald’s, but they were unclear and blamed the delivery driver. Our driver returned to pick up the correct order, so I called McDonald’s again to ask them to remake it. By this point, it had been 1 hour and 40 minutes. Uber then notified me that the food was delivered, but we still hadn’t received anything. My partner called McDonald’s next, but since she only speaks English, the manager refused to help, claiming he couldn’t speak English. How can a manager not speak English in a city full of international students? What a disgrace! In the end, the manager said there was nothing he could do, and we were left waiting with no food, wasting €50. I will never order from this McDonald’s again, absolutely the worst...

Horrible service. Ordered two meals through Takeaway at 19:46. Called twice to check the order status and all saying they are already delivered and blame everything on Takeaway. We had to order sthing else through Uber eats instead. Out of the blue, Takeaways informed us the order is on the way after nearly 3 hours 22:30. Chatted with the delivery guy to figure out the fault is due to Mc Donald forgot our orders. Like if only they considered our concerns on the calls more seriously, the second guy didnt have a check at takeaways to see the status whether they delivered or not.
