Location: Cafè de Loge is located not that far from the canal, from the University (15 minutes by foot) and in front of a tram station. It’s cozy and informal, warm. Different kinds of people feel at easy here: locals, students, families... it’s a nice place to rest and relax. The music is part if the atmosphere. Many plugs available! Food and drink: the beverages are good and tasty, though not expensive compared to the Belgian standards! Coffees are being served with a pastry (amazing!!!), which makes the break even tastier :) the coffee tastes really nice (I am Italian, so it’s really important for me :p ) Service: fast, efficient, polite and smiley :)

This cafe is really nice, with a relaxing atmosphere and locals inside. There is outdoor seating in front as well as an upstairs atrium/terrace, lots of seating, and good music. A huge beer menu (locals, Trappists, non-ABV, and more), but more importantly for us, vegetarian and vegan options. The vegan stew really was insane and I'm wanting more right now typing this. Great spot to stop at if you have the chance. Hi

Just one of the best places in Ghent.

This pub functions as a community spot for many local musicians & artists, blue & white collar, families & students. Huge and excellent beer & drink list, including good N/A alternatives. Enjoy live music and have a simple but high quality meal, all for prices that are way too affordable.

Have a chat with the owners or staff, they are a lovely bunch who can help you on your way in Ghent.

Mieke protects the character of this place with an iron fist! That means you have to play by its very few rules: no talking during concerts, soft voices outside after 21:00, & no laptops after office hours.

Respect the atmosphere & follow the staffs instructions: they know how to run a pub better than you do.

Oh boy…. My hands just fell off my pockets after seeing the variety of Belgian beers…

Amazingly yours but I had very little time to taste the rest and probably need 2 days to run over it..

The space is chilled out.. good music.. you can relax inside or outside and het to the counter and they are at your service…

The beers are so crisp and tastes so dam good…

I should get back some time and do the rest.. The beers in the refrigerator had so much variety and so much better than the tap.. Seriously for the first time I felt the goodness and taste of the bottled beers were way beyond the taps taste.
