Ethiopian food is the best of Africa. After a long search we finally found African top cuisine. The presentation, the festival of flavors and the best service, with the kindness of the African gentle smile.
We had crispy Sambusa (similar to Indian samosa) with fresh tasty lemoned salad as starter. The main dish was a delicious vegan special with Shiro Wot, Atter Kik Wot, Ye Misir Wot, Tikle Gomen, Keyser Dinich Wot and Gohem Wot which comes for two people, and your share the festival of color and flavors. I finished with an Ethiopian coffee, again served with love and care.

Thank you Daniel. Please pass our appreciation and love to your wife, family and staff who make...
Read moreGood experience! Our food basket is so fantastic. it's my first time eating in an African restaurant, and I love the ambiance here. The crew are so friendly. Food is really good for vegetarian or vegan people. Tho, ours has meat. The basket was overloaded of different kinds of vegetables, which I really like a lot. But the meat inside the mini and cutie pot was a bit salty for me. Well, the roll of their traditional bread goes well to the saltyness of the food. Coffe was great, but make it sure you order the coffee while u r still eating ur dinner because it will take a long time to make it because they are the one roasting their own coffee. Isn't it cool? Love this traditional way of making coffee. The food serving waiting time takes a long time, too but...
Read moreWe spent 5 days in Ghent and, being Habesha, we were really craving Ethiopian food. On our first day, we went to a nearby Ethiopian restaurant. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing (I won’t mention the name, but there are only two Ethiopian restaurants in Ghent) and we decided not to return. Reluctantly, we decided to give the other restaurant —Muday - Taste of Ethiopia— a try, and oh my, it ticked all our boxes: flavour, cleanliness, authenticity… it truly soothed our craving and felt just like being back home. We kept coming back again and again during our stay. We even wanted to visit one last time on Monday, but sadly, it’s their only day off. Next time we’re in Ghent, this will...
