I'm SO glad I found this place on my holiday in Gent! I visited on a rainy Sunday morning. I made a reservation online a few days before to secure a table, but it wasn't packed so maybe isn't needed. The cafe is bright, open and airy and a really enjoyable environment to relax in. They encourage you to use the QR code menu and order online (free WiFi). Unfortunately you can't order this way with a foreign credit card so I went to the counter to order and the staff were really helpful. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and all spoke perfect English. The food and drinks are all plant-based (vegan). I went all-out and enjoyed the Pink Panther Pancakes (with added coconut yogurt) and a coconut milk mocha. Both were extremely indulgent and delicious. I would probably just order 2 pancakes next time, not 4, as the portion was huge (I finished it anyway!) The mocha was made with real dark chocolate which is such a nice touch. They bring you free tap water without even asking which seems very rare in Gent so it gets my vote. It's dog-friendly too which is a big bonus! Would definitely recommend a visit. Thank you O'yo. I will visit again and again on my future...
Read moreI went to this place for a brunch. With a high rating, I had a high expectations to this place. It was our first time and didn’t had my clue on how it worked, the staffs was ok but didn’t ask about if it was our first time. We did scanned the QR menu but we didn’t know that we can just ordered and pay it online. Also they have forgot to add the things we have additionally requested for one of our order (so if my partner didn’t said a thing, we paid extra for nothing). You can add extra stuffs on our order. It can become quite a pricey side if you are a big eater (unless you order regular food like salad, etc). The portion was smaller than the one from other brunch places I’ve been to for the price. But it was delicious (I am a very small eater so it was ok).
I can definitely recommend it for you to try out this vegan/vegetarian brunch place but it’s located outside of old centrum of Gent.
I tried out the pink panther pancake and charcoal latte. I think it’s very unique menu in this place and I have spotted that quite many people has ordered it. But if you are a big eater to normal eater, I would go for extra pancakes instead of just 2 because it’s a...
Read moreThis place has a calm, earthy aesthetic that feels inviting the moment you walk in—perfect for a relaxed start to the day. We came specifically for the gluten-free pancakes, and they did not disappoint.
I got the Indulgent pancakes with feta, granola, and maple syrup, and they were incredible—fluffy, soft, and full of flavour. My wife went for the peanut butter chocolate gluten-free pancakes, which were equally delicious. Honestly, some of the best gluten-free pancakes we’ve had at a restaurant.
We also tried their drinks: I had the grapefruit lemonade, which was perfectly tart and refreshing, while my wife had a fresh-squeezed orange juice that tasted as fresh as it gets.
Overall, a fantastic spot for anyone looking for a calm, inviting place with top-notch gluten-free pancakes in Ghent....
