Oriental — Restaurant in Ghent

OMG this is not great chinese food! Its for people who dont know how chinese food should taste.The loempia sauce was lumpy and sour, just horrible. The babi panggang was in an unrecognizable light brown sauce, also lumpy. The mihoen oriental was oke-ish. But there was not one piece of Chop Choy in the dish with the similar name. If you carry the sign of being a Chinese restaurant, then you have the obligation to teach the customers how chinese food tastes. You can always modify for the local tast, not too spicy or not too salty. It maybe cheap and prepared by chinese, but this is not...

Big portions, shouldn't have ordered an appetiser which I didn't like honestly. I will rarely eat chopped meat and those ball dumplings have proven my point. Nothing to do with the cookery, just an observation on some of the ingredients. Friendly people, only take away. There's magazines to read. Pricing is not low, but low regarding the quantity you get. Food is okay, paid 5,30 for a very big meal. I took the spicy option which wasn't spicy at all. If I'd go here again I'd order something else but for the price one...
