Yibei Tea Gent — Restaurant in Ghent

Great boba store in Ghent with a lot of options. Classic options such as boba milk tea and matcha are combined with lots of milk teas, iced coffees, fruit teas, frappucino and non-alcoholic mojito's. Tapioca pearls were tasty and fresh, albeit a bit chewier than most shops, if you're into that. There's also some food options available like Japanese style cheese cakes and some cookies, including matcha baked cookies. We sampled the chocolate chip cookies and matcha cookies and were pleasantly surprised with the great taste! The store has plenty of seating available and toilets. Staff is chatty and willing to help out...

Great bubble tea! 🧋 I had the brown sugar boba milk tea, and it looks so pretty and cute (the picture shows the already mixed look)

They give reusable bamboo straws and cut a gap for it because it can't pierce the plastic lid, very eco-friendly and useful!

The tea itself was slightly bitter, but I do like it, and the boba was perfectly cooked and sweet.

Super cozy atmosphere and comfortable seating. The service was a little slow, but they take their time to prepare the drinks, and it was busy, so I understand.

10/10...

Literally the rudest staff. Wanted to go the toilet, no staff said that it wasn’t allowed and when we come outside they suddenly yell at us teenagers to pay 2 euros? Like they could have been saying that when we enter that door for the toilet. 2 euros to relive myself is crazy. And also accusing the girl because she is muslim saying that she isn’t respectful enough to be a muslim. That is very unprofessional behavior of two adults yelling...
